State tournament had a lot of empty seats. In my opinion due to the teams in it. No star power. Games where boring. Only games worth watching was Trinity/Hoptown, Scott/Trinity, and the Final game. Cov. Catholic fans bailed KHSAA out on Sunday.

Good game and nice crowd. Would like for the KABC to do a better job of replacing the no shows. Pretty obvious Snider/Martin wasnt going to play. Not sure why Harris from the 6th didnt play. This could really be a good event if players would show up.

Need to go back to semis in the morning and finals at night on Sat. Been her all week makes for a long week.

True! Fairdale drew a lot of talent from the Cotterhomes/Southwick area. The housing was torn down and replaced with Mixed income housing and townhomes. Part of revitalizing Louisville. Fairdale has never rcovered the attendance. Closest TARC stop is the Walmart 3 miles away. Fairdale is one of a few Jefferson co schools that provide an ativity bus for transportation. Can still get the talent but it takes a lot of work. Coach Longacre got tired of that. Fairdale has a lot to offer in their program. Travel every year and treat kids right. They went to New Orleans over Christmas this year.

The slection committee is not consistant on their criteria: Schedule, Non-conference schedule, conference tournament,body of work, consitentancy. UofL did play at UK and UNC on neutral sites. I love the Shockers but their strength of schedule is 119. They didnt play anyone. Villanova has 1 win over a top 25 team. Syracuse lost 5 out of last 7. Virgina, Duke, or Michigan wins conference title they are a 1 seed. If uofL loses conference title what seed would they have gotten? I get the AAC wasnt strong but it still put 4 teams in and should have gotten 5 in SMU if Coach K doesnt go on a rant about the ACC, getting NC State a play in game. This was a rear ender to UofL. A 3 seed ok but a #4 was a joke.

Great show. Patrick Ewing gave the League instant credibility. Didnt realize the racism that followed him around the league. Know wonder Georgetown played with a chip on their shoulders. Shame the Big East crumbled due to football.

With Louisville's performance today and over UCONN last week coupled with Villanova loss the Cards could be a #1 seed if they can win the AAC. With SMU losing The Cards will be in the finals.

Coach Hicks will get this job. He has the backing of the administration and Coach Longacre.

Auburn will spend on the salary. But what are their committments to facilities and support. What does Auburn have to offer a kid to come and play basketball there. Auburn or Alabama cant keep their best in state players home. Should tell you all you need to know.

Donnie would be a great choice. I just hope he waits for something better. Like I said coaching careers end there.

Auburn ends a lot of coaching careers. Not sure why anybody would want to go there. Will pay some money but you cant win there. Another SEC school that only cares about Football but expects basketball team to win at high level without any committment. How many coaches have they gone through in last 15 years.

I will take Trinity. Any team that beats Ballard with all their talent and two Mr. Basketball candidates is the favorite. They are well coached and control the tempo. Ballard averages around 80 pts per game and they always keep it in the 50-60 point range. They have a 6'10 kid in Spaulding who gets better each game and controls the paint. They beat Ballard with him only scoring 4pts. But he rebounds and blocks shots.

Would be a great seed. If the Cards win AAC and Villanova or Arizona fall they will be in the AP top 4. No way they are a less than 2 seed. Last I heard Joe Lunardi is not on the selection committee

Basketball is the same. No excuse for not being a member. It only cost $20 a year. You can even get a school membership of Boy/Girls coaches up to 10 for a $100

Must sit the next two games. What it shows is a lack of consistency in officiating across the state. 6th & 7th region officials let teams play more and don't call T's on players without warning them first or working with them or the coach. 5th region officials just jump right in and call a T in this tournament. Exception was Fairdale Bullitt Central game when Centrals Center got warnings on three different occasions with no T. Last years tournament had more T's than any I have ever seen. There is no consistency across the board. Now you have a top player not playing.

Will still win. 5th region officials are awful. Have no business doing Louisville games. Did last years games and all they did was call T's.

Didn't Cal throw hints out there that this team could go 40-0 with the greatest recruiting class of all time. When things going bad media and critics are going to pounce on him. I think KY will be fine but Cal seems to be growing tired of the same questions. First three years he could do no wrong. Now he doesn't like being questioned. UK job the best in the game but it can also wear on the best.

I've seen both games and Trinity has a more than legit shot at winning. I think Trinity wins the KOB if Spaulding doesn't leave with a concussion. The LIT game went into ot. Not sure why Trinity cant win this game if they play. My pick is Ballard, but wouldn't be surprised by Trinity winning.

Not for storming the floor. Have always thought it was dangerous and something like this could happen anytime. However, If the player acts right none of this happens. He should be done for the year. Not sure why college sports continues to allow athletes to act like this and get away with it saying its the heat of the moment and other excuses.

Caleb Longacre led Fairdale with 20 pts including sealing the game with 2 free throws with 6 seconds left in front of a wild Holy Cross cheering section behind the rim chanting Daddy's Boy! I think he is used to that chant. Holy Cross Thought they had this one. Everything was set up for them to win on their home floor which is a cracker box. Fairdale never panicked. They have played a tough schedule so the enviornment didnt bother them. Will play PRP for district title Friday night at 7:00
