Does anyone know the roster of this team? I hear that they are ducking the travelers by all the posts I have read. The travelers have posted their roster and I would say with my limited knowledge that the magic smack doesnt stack up against the talent collected by the new team on the block. Would love to know if these teams will play this summer? I thought the KY state AAU was for the best teams and players in the state so why would both teams not play in it - scared?

Is this basketball, or reality TV? I feel like one of the two teams is going to ask the other to meet them out back by the dumpster. Like everyone else, I'd like to see two really good teams play, but to say one is scared of the other not only implies coaches being scared, but players. I can't imagine these kids are even thinking like that. In fact, most probably know each other, or have played with each other.

I'm not sure of the Magic have official representation on here like the Travelers do. The Magic 17U roster has been posted and I hope to have the 16U roster soon. I know one kid on that team. The Travelers are not expected to play in the Ky State AAU tournament. The Magic have the last two years and I am guessing they will play there again this year. The Travelers play in the EYBL which is the Nike Elite League and will be traveling across the country to play some of the top teams in the nation. The Magic are an Under Armor organization and they will travel across the country as well by they are not an EYBL team so the chances of these two teams meeting up are slim but not out of the question. We'll just have to wait and see. I guarantee that neither team is ducking the other. If I wanted to say someone was ducking someone I would say the Travelers are ducking the Magic by not playing in the Ky State AAU tourney at KBA. Nothing like a state tournament to see who the best in the state is.

Very good roster, I wonder if their #8 ranking is based on this roster or last year roster. They have lost DeAngelo Russell off last year team, Brandon Hatton and Jackson Davis played with them some as well. Chris Hudson went to Vegas with them in July as well. Either way very good team, having Shane Hall full time this year will an added bonus.

I know Hagen Tyler, Ronnie Carson, Keipher Dalton and Brandon Berry are on the 16U team. Not sure of the rest of the roster.

LOL. I don't think the Magic ducks anybody, and yes, your knowledge does seem limited. Magic won the Adidas Invitational in Indianapolis the last two years, The Adidas Super 64 in Vegas last year, and the Spiece Run-N-Slam in Ft Wayne last year.

 

They finished 2nd In the Adidas Spring Invitational in Bloomington to an Eric Gordon team that included Zak Irvin (Michigan), Basil Smotherman (Purdue), Colin Hartman, Devin Davis (IU), and VJ Beacham (Notre Dame). They lost by 3 while playing up in the 17U division.

 

They also won state in their division the last two years (And split their team up last year to make it more competitive).

 

This new Travelers team is yet to win a game as a team. So, to say that the Magic doesn't stack up to the new team on the block is a little absurd at this point. Let's see how the Travelers do before we start bashing a team that's proven itself.

Rentfroe is a solid big man from Marshall County. He's probably 6'7", PF. Not sure of his college options, but he'll have some...

Bach is a scoring machine who plays the 2 guard I believe. He is the real deal from what I have heard.

I believe Bach is from Augusta isn't he?
