Id love to come over and watch the Pigskin classic sometime epsecially to watch Pikeville play. Do you guys think you could move the games off Bristol race weekend so I could come watch them sometime? LOL! In all seriousness I believe you guys could draw even bigger crowds if you moved the games to either the weekend before or after with Bristol so close and all.

You dont hear much about this kid cause he plays at Pike Central but Quirvon Merchant (I know I didnt spell his first name right) is fast as lightning and was about all the offense central had last year but he must learn to keep his emotions in check and he will be a great player.

Ive never agreed with 4 teamsfrom each district in the playoffs. Thats the only problem Ive seen with this 6 class system is that the districts will be smaller and still 4 teams will be coming from each district that means its a good posibility that a 1-9 team will meet a district champ in the first round as long as there 1 win is a district win and IMO you will see that alot if this goes into effect. Heres an honest ? has a 4 seed ever beat a 1 seed?

I say yes but the only tweak Id make to the proposal you made in your previous thread is I would make 1a a little bigger but not too much.

I read a book on IMO the greatest college coach of all time Bear Bryant. He always tried to stay flexible on both sides of the ball as far as schemes to fit his personel. When he had Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler at QB of course he threw the ball more. If he had good running backs and a great line he ran the wishbone. Its improtant especially in HS ball to stay flexible with the schemes you run to fit your team the best. If you like running the Power I for example but youre biggest lineman is 5-10 185 with a 200 pound bench press and youre fastest running back is getting out run by the afforementioned lineman, you better try something else. But good luck to you. I too love the game and I beleive it teaches young men lessons that a text book cant (Im not saying football is more important than grades by any means Im just stating a simple fact). I helped out Coach Js Jr high staff a little when they were short handed last year and it was the most fun Id had since my playing days were over. I hope that I taught those kids as much as they taught me.

I guess school politics isnt just an East Kentucky problem. I get the feeling heads are gonna roll into the ohio river before this is over.
