Your probaly thinking about the Ammons Junior and senior years, and then the year after he left, FC was 10-2, 9-3, 9-3 those years very good teams, but they had some battles with Lex. Cath, and Highlands in those seasons... one year they got upset in play offs by Harrison County I think.

Well I am not a fan of Matney's technique, but I do understand them, this kid is tough he deserves all his acolades, and I for one am rooting for him to break and hold the record..... Not all programs get to win state titles every year or at least most years, Rockpride you guys are a little spoiled in that aspect, most kids that stick it out in your program will forever be down in the record books at least once out of four years due to a title....The kids at other programs such as Johnson Central well that is not the deal....so through Jude these kids can for a while at least say...see that name....I was there!! Good luck to JC and Jude in the record.....And lets also say its rushing yards he is chasing, probably a run up the middle at that, so not exactly throwing it deep and running trick plays..... or onside kicking it. I have gotten on here and said my words towards this record and coaches actions but I do see both sides.

Ok I am not up to speed on the numbers here, So a few questions are in order....... What is the record they are trying to break?? How many Yards does Jude Have? How Many Yards does Wales have? Anyone please?

This is silly, I would hope that they would not do anything like this, especially being a Catholic school based on religion and christianity, which means turning the other cheek. In all due respect no one questions their dominance in football them and ST. X will win, every state title in 6A IMHO for a very long time. No one will touch them and they do have a very huge advantage over the public schools in the same division....Its well documented...No one in the State will beat them, more than once long shot two times in the next ten years.

Grant County being getting beat like this for years, new coach after one year is not gonna change years of beat downs in Dry Ridge.

Matney is indeed into stats, and rushing records he also is very unclassy I know people at the Woodford County game and witnessed it first hand. Some say he does it "for the kids" I say he does it for his own resume ego. I can live with how competitive he is and how he likes to run it up, thinking maybe he is just a hard butt kinda coach, but, his whining, and getting out of contracts and the way he schedules makes that all a farse...

I don't think people realize how NOT good 5A in this part of the state is Franklin County will run all over Woodford, and Anderson, The Flyers have been tested but never for 4 quarters.

Never dealt or met him personally, but from talking to others I knew he was a great person who cared alot for the kids in Henry County, raised money for the football team, coached there, and kept many a boys fed, clothed, and safe no matter their background. Big loss in Henry County.

Kind of thought that this would be the case, Panthers may win district, but thats about it.

They do not have the horses to win it I think they can make the finals game but I also think they do not get tested on a weekly basis which will haunt them in the playoffs, maybe second or third round. They always schedule cupcakes out of district.

Well I don't see much difference if the administration has made it known they are unhappy...........if that is not complaining don't know what is?? Back to the game Henry out hits Shelby 21-6!

Well the last people who need to be complaining about the success so far is the administration!!! They went above and beyond to ensure an uphill struggle for the wildcats. They should be glad anyone wants to coach there.

They have played nobody so far, some not very good programs who are even having down years compared to their history, lets see if they beat anyone decent.

Boys everyone else gets back to reality, FC is real deal they have ran through two teams like they were sitting still... I don't think LCC is good enough to keep em bottled up...... I had heard they had some horses at Franklin, but I seen them last Friday and they are loaded on Offense.

Got word on the game they did have at least 7 turnovers if you count the onside kick they didnt cover, as far as skill kids or lineman not being the problem??? Didn't see the game, but.....56-13 loss takes 11. Unless the lineman, fumbled or threw pics??? I think it all goes hand in hand, I think this team will get better each week. Looks like there is a lot of work to be done!
