Most of the people who have seen both have him as Mr. Football, truth is most have not seen him. Quick more of a vertical threat straight line kind of player, Timmons simply creates space with his vision and cuts, and has speed to go vertical the same as Quick.

I was in the endzone friday and had to go the bathroom the whole second half and held it cause it was wild all night...what a game. But frustrating for those of us who wanna see them do well in all phases.

Well its both defense and special teams. That work against them, on average they play defense for three solid quarters (estimate) and offense for only a quarter. Add in all the onside kicks they lose.....awful at this.... add in a few other kicks returned on them, punts faked, and misc. other things the points add up quick does not take long to give up points like that. I am a flyer fan but its a nightmare watching them play sometimes. but they do seem to find a way when the game is on the line.

They get ran over most the time, they are not physical at this point, look like they are playing tag. Come down to hitting and tackling they do not do either very well. I agree if this does not change, they will be on upset alert from here on out. Woodford County is not that good. Kicking game also kills the defense.

Flyers did not look good, penalties, 3 kicks returned, lost 4-5 onside kicks, blown coverages, this team does not show signs of a post season team. Potential is there though but three or four sloppy weeks in a row does not look good.

Man that is tough, Thoughts with these young men, and their peers as each will need some guidance in dealing with these types of things from Frankfort.

Maybe you should have said something like, a few of the schools Ryan likes are teams that have not offered him and he is pursuing instead of what you did post. Just seemed kind of like a "hater" kind of post. As for my honesty with myself well I been working on that.

What in the world is that?????????? guess he gets in a car and picks up the coaches who come camp out in Frankfort and watch him practice, play, and etc.....

I will tell you what Timmons did do, and I am gonna end my commenting on this this thread. He stayed home, he did not sell out and leave his team and team mates to go to a better school when things were tough. He could be at any of those schools getting all the acolades and more national and state attention, but he decided to stay home with the people and coaches who he grew up with. If you think the private schools did not come calling when he was in 8th grade your not too smart. He chose to stick it out and help get his team to somewhere they had never been! So to me he is Mr. Football no matter what happens in the Media vote. Good luck to all the canidates this year and in the future.

So media, define media, who are these people who vote, do they watch film? Do they see the kids in person, does off the feild play a part in this???

Its the same every year, just a shame that our Mr. Football is always such a boring debate we can pretty much pick the winner every year before it even starts, who even decides on Mr. Football???? How is it voted on Etc??

So is Mr. Football based on freshman year??? Got a little better supporting cast at Trinity. Timmons has plenty of offers, some from some people who are comparing the two.

Sad news for LC, but from what I hear the back up is also a stand out QB.

Man it was a mess, tough track and both teams had trouble with it, I think it may have looked different on the scoreboard though with a dry track. The flyers had 2-3 touchdowns called back in this game.

Place was a mess, officiating very poor, East Jessamine played hard, Franklin County gave up some points with some special teams, I think a fake punt, and a few kick offs took back for a td, or close at least, I was getting some nachos, with chili and jalapeno peppers! FCHS with the ugly win improves to 7-0!

It appears LCA is a bit over rated, add in the fact that there best player got hurt in this game if I was told correctly by a fan. I think FHS will win some games and make a run in play offs but as far as beating Mayfeild and Beechwood, lets not get carried away just yet.

This is also the case with Timmons most carries or receptions he has had this year is 10, and he has only played in the fourth quarter in two games, Timmons to me is the Mr. Football. He may not get it due to the power that Trinity has in KY Football and not sure what his team will do in the post season. But he is the best canidate in my opinion.
