I've heard the same thing. Most students didn't come out because they don't really know this team and the term one fan used was "these weren't Scott County boys".

Christian Co. just couldn't find a way to win this game. They had SC digging deep into the bench to people who would have never seen the floor and CC just couldn't take advantage.

Scott Hundley. He is a great JV coach for Montgomery and has experience from the highest level. Will make a great head coach somewhere. Chris Wilhoite and Tim Glenn from Scott County. Glenn runs a good JV program and Wilhoite is the calm behind the madness of coach Hicks.

I was there and as expected when the final horn sounded Scott County ran to the other side of the dourt and celebrated and that went on for a while I suppose Lafayette just got tired of seeing a celebration they wanted badly and figured SC wouldn't finish to shake their hands.

If your looking for that with great ties to central Kentucky then Scott Hundley would be the man. He has been assistant to both Billy Hicks and Keith Griesser as well as played for the SEC coach of the year. He would be a slam dunk hire for someone.

After the district championship loss, I see the Indians coming out very focused and intense and they take it in a very close game to head to Diddle for the 6th time.

7.00 for both games on Thursday and 7.00 for both games on Friday. 5.00 for the first session semi-final game Saturday played at 5:00 5.00 for the second session semi-final game Saturday played at 8:30. Don't really see where that is "Money Hungary"...!!!!!

It happened last year when Montgomery defeated Clark for both the 40th district and 10th region titles.

Apparently that district title loss woke up the Indians. I say they win the Title for the 6th time.

I like GRC to advance to the finals and play Mason. Don't count out Montgomery as a possible fly in the ointment here, they have proven they can rise to the occasion and slow down the opposition, I think they can hang with Mason Co.
