Curious, when was the last time two teams from the same district played each other in the regional finals? Should be another good game but would expect the same outcome as the district finals.

2003; Campbell County over Brossart. In the 10th, anyway. I think.

Paris over Harrison County in 2004 ... when both teams played in the 37th District!

Another great year in the 40th District. Two years in a row and next year could be three ... with two teams from that district make it to the Region finals!

I agree. I felt all year that GRC and Montgomery Co were the top two teams in the region.

It happened last year when Montgomery defeated Clark for both the 40th district and 10th region titles.

Scott played their hearts out, but when the game developed into a very physical up and down game, that is not their strength. Tibbs was a warrior to the end with 2-3 Lady Cards hanging on her all night.

Any idea on total points and rebounds for Lauren Tibbs this season...it has to be a staggering number.

She finished the season with 759 points (Scott single season record) and 349 rebounds and a little over 100 blocks. She had a great season. I am most proud of how she led her team and played with class and poise throughout.
