mcpapa Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 No surprise here. Another one of the (very) few correct calls in the Sweet 16 contest.
Triple_Threat Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Impressive win by Cards...if they share the ball the way they did tonight it will be theirs to lose. P.S. Glad to see Shotwell get involved!
loubballfan Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 If they play like this only Ballard has a chance to stay in the game with them. But, they're high school kids so you never know who will show up so that's why they toss it up!
panther fan Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Completely Throttled!! Can anyone help me understand what Lafayette's game plan was?
Triple_Threat Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Completely Throttled!! Can anyone help me understand what Lafayette's game plan was? Be more athletic than Scott County?????? :ohbrother::isurrender::ohbrother:
B-Ball-fan Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Completely Throttled!! Can anyone help me understand what Lafayette's game plan was? With the way Scott Co. played, they would erase any team's game plan. Lafayette didn't know what hit them. Not sure any team that faces them the rest of the year will either. They're that tough.
coach cal Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 This team has turned into a team that at the beginning of the year that played very little defense. Against Ballard to start the year they played no defense what so ever. Now they are playing defense as good as any team they have ever had. If they are can keep the intensity up at Rupp it will take a near perfect game to beat them. Also Gelawn is finally healthy and it finally showed last night. Gelawn is now playing the point and played it to perfection last night. I dont believe he had a turnover. And that is saying something as fast as Scott Co. plays.
doomer Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 What happened with Napier of Lafayette...straight zeros in the LHL stat line this morning?
strongopenyon Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 What happened with Napier of Lafayette...straight zeros in the LHL stat line this morning? My guess is that he played at least half the game, but he did not get a shot off last night. His body language in the second half was very poor. He acted very passive and seemed lost in this game. Something was going on.
imsosilly Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Scott County simply had way too much talent for Lafayette to overcome. Scott should be favored heading into next week's state tournament based on their play of late.
milkdaddy Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 With 7 of their top players not even from Scott County why are they called Scott County
howwelookin Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 With 7 of their top players not even from Scott County why are they called Scott CountySounds like someone could use some of these Scott tissues to clean up those tears.
loubballfan Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 What happened with Napier of Lafayette...straight zeros in the LHL stat line this morning? As I recall from watching the game, the Flannery kid pretty much locked him down and I don't recall him getting a shot off!
One of The Tribe Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 With 7 of their top players not even from Scott County why are they called Scott County I'd like to hear this answer............waiting..............waiting.......:idunno:
