By looking at all your previous posts, you look like a Madison Central fan that is more concerned about Scott Co's players than your own team or players.

And don't worry about us we'll be just fine. With 4-5 Freshman on the floor most of the year, you're not going to see alot of wins playing in the 11th region, but you're going to get a lot of valuable experience, so look for them to be around strong the next couple of years. I have absolutely no Scott County ties, but I will defend their basketball program, anyways.

 

Who wouldn't want to play basketball for Scott County?

They have a great tradition;

They have great facilities with a beautiful gymnasium to play in;

They have a good coach who prepares his players for the next level;

Many of their players have gotten college scholarships in basketball;

They have good players to play with and compete against in practice;

Their community greatly supports their team;

Georgetown is a good, growing community in which to live;

 

I could go on and on.

 

Bottom line is that if I had a son who showed great basketball potential, I would certainly consider living in Georgetown, Kentucky where my son could maximize his potential in an effort to become a college basketball prospect.

 

Billy Hicks has been accused of recruiting, but he does not have to recruit good players.......good players want to play at Scott County.

Anyone at the region final? Heard that Lafayette's players walked off the court and didn't shake hands. Had to be brought back out for the trophy presentation in street clothes. Are the inmates running the asylum?:confused:

 

I was there and as expected when the final horn sounded Scott County ran to the other side of the dourt and celebrated and that went on for a while I suppose Lafayette just got tired of seeing a celebration they wanted badly and figured SC wouldn't finish to shake their hands.

The post game handshake is not mandatory but done as a sign of respect. Respect is "earned".Obviously, Billy Hicks or his program have not earned anyone's respect.

Not complaining, but just for the sake of accuracy...add Ivey to that list who resides in Franklin County.

I am also told that he now resides in Scott County. And I don't have any issues with the transfers...just previously he resided in Western Hills' district.
