Anybody else not like the long layoffs in between games? I understand the extra day for travel but to have 3 days off is a little much. I know they are trying to push these series' to when the Finals are scheduled to start but it appears they will have time off anyway with the way it looks like 2 sweeps in progress.
Many say today is the day and it will be quiet and he will just send in his papers to whichever school he picks. A thought of mine is, did Cal take Vargas knowing Jones was going to stick with UW?
I don't see how he could go to Chicago where MJ is the face of that fanchise, he wants to be the best ever and playing in Chicago he would be in MJ's shadow IMO. The only way I see him going there is if he sees it as the best chance as a quick title. He has said he wants to pass 6 rings and he isn't off to the best start.
Me neither. You bring him in, if he isn't preparing or in some shape besides round then you can cut him. If he works at it then you have a QB with starting experience backing up your franchise QB.
When you draft a QB because of his size and he can throw the ball hard first overall you have to expect he can't step in right away. Russell can throw the ball a mile but if your not accurate it means nothing.
The county I'm in will most likely be closed, which is Scott County, we have the Elkhorn and that is way out of it's banks and roads in the middle of town are being closed because water is rushing down hills to them. This rain is still going to last a long time too.
The Hawks now play every other day until that series is over, against a team who has had a week off, which they earned by the sweep but why not wait until tomorrow to start the Cavs-Celts series? It is a big disadvantage.
One thing I've kinda got a problem with is the scheduling, the Hawks now won't play game 1 of their series until Tuesday, by then the other Eastern 2nd round will have played 2 games.
Says he is going to sit down and finalize the decision tonight. I can't see him turning away from UW, if he does can you imagine the scrutiny he would face changing his mind less than a day later.
