I believe its Deming's turn. Could be wrong. But it was at Bishop Brossart last year, Bracken this year, next in line is Deming I think.

Mofford with a double double? Impressive. Sounds like the Orange and Black were lucky to win this one. You gotta play two halfs guys. Nice to get back in the winning column though. Panthers sweep the season series with the Devils. Good Luck against the Saints tomorrow. Tough to beat a team 3 times in a season, so I'll take Augusta in that one tomorrow 70-64. I look for A-Town to win 4 of their last 6 regular season games.

Not one man team by any means, but yes your right, things would not be good though.

Preston Knowles

Yes he is. He's started 12 of 24 games, averaging 5.75 ppg, 2.75 rpg, 1.4 apg. Not overly impressive, but when you average 15 minutes a game thats not bad. Remember he redshirted his Freshman year, so is only a Sophomore, the only Sophomore on the roster.

Once again another close game between these two schools. Amazing atmosphere last night, both crowds really into it. The deciding factor in this game was Jesse Hall and the Panthers lack of a half court Offense. Granted Bracken's "D" played outstanding in the first half with a lot of pressure, but the Panthers had multiple cutter open in the lane but failed to make the pass in there or failed to even see the man standing wide open 5-10 ft. from the basket. The third quarter started as if Bracken was going to put the game away, but the constant effort of Augusta got that back in the game. The tempo really sped up in the 2nd half and allowed a lot baskets in the open court for Augusta. But then when they cut the lead to 1 they went away from what got them back in the game(moving without the ball and getting into the lane). Illadvised three's began getting jacked up from everywhere which allowed quick run outs for Hall to score or dish to someone for an open score. Another key point was a stupid intentional foul by Steven Cummings which ended up being a 4 point swing from a 3 pt. lead to a 7 pt. lead. A play a senior should no better than to make. Cooper had a career day for Bracken and T. Hamilton showed incredible heart continuing to play on that injured ankle. Staggs, B. Hamilton, and Mofford all had good games on the inside again for A-Town. J-White had a solid game but nothing spectaculer. But they desperately need better play from the wings. Its been a story of two halves for the Panthers all season. They seem to only show up for 16 minutes, or else believe me this team would have about 15 wins right now.

This team doesn't have a go to guy. If any body it is Staggs. It was Hardymon, but he hasn't shown up much this season.

All Brossart has to do is lock down in a packed in zone and this game is over. Bracken has no shooters on the perimeter. Augusta tried the zone last night but were way to spread and allowed J-Hall to get in the lane easily. If Brossart stays packed in then the Polar Bears will have trouble scoring. For Bracken to win this game J-Hall has to continue on his great play, he controlled the Augusta game from start to finish and tonight he has to do the same, he is there only weapon on offense. Bracken also needs very strong games from Cooper and Hamilton. If they can get some easy buckets, defend the post and rebound well then Bracken has a legit shot at this. BUT if Brossart shows up and does what they have to do then they will win by double figures. Mustangs-55 Polar Bears 39
