Brossart improves to 17-3

Bracken Co falls to 13-7

Bracken was never in the game and only had 6 points at halftime. Congrats to the Mustangs on winning the 10th region All A. They will face the winner of Newport Central and St. Henry on Thursday February 1st at 9am. That's way too early to play, but that's just me. : )

Those that were at the game, will have to talk about how bad the officiating was. Listening to the Brossart announcers, they said the refs were allowing the kids to play TOO much and nearly lost control of the game.

it was a rough game and Bracken had the reffs on there side and still didn't even give Brossert a game. Congrats and good luck Brossert.

Hopefully NCC makes it so BBHS can pound them in the first round.

Kinda down after this one. Congrats to Brossart, I'll cheer my 10th region brethren on in Richmond. Bring the title back home.

Good luck BB in the All A Make the 10th region proud.:ylsuper:

Bracken never quit...

A tough bunch of kids... they'll recover from this one and move on.

I dont know If I will recover, Do you think they will give me my 5 dollars admission back , BB was ruff on us..

Nothing to be ashamed of for the Polar Bears in this one--They just caught a group of Mustang seniors in the first half that were probably a little tired of hearing about the '05 game for the last two years!! Great defensive effort by the 'Stangs in the first half to essentially put the game away!! Good luck to both teams the rest of the way!!

look out for the 8th region champs

Good Luck in Richmond

It was 04.

I saw a Polar Bears team I hadn't seen all year in the first half of this one. Coming in, you had to think that if Bracken were to win they would have to play a mistake free game, but basically the Polar Bears made every possible mistake they could and an ungodly number of turnovers and basically took themselves out of it in the first half.

Bracken laid it all out there as far as effort, but it was one of those nights that it wasn't going to happen. Hall probably tried to do too much at times, and Hamilton showed the effects of last night's ankle injury. Jay sat him down for most of the second half, which was probably a good call, no reason to risk the rest of the season in a lost cause.

Bracken outscored Brossart in the 2nd and I'm still convinced they could have wone this game under different circumstances but you don't score 6 points in a hlaf and beat anybody. Ever.
