Bourbon County will be hard to beat and I think the preseason favorite.

How much did the Colonels lose last year from their Region runner-up team? They seemed to improve a lot as the year went on. Also how experenced will Harrison County's pitching staff be this year, Hilltopper?

Bishop Brossart brings a solid group of players to the table this year and you can never count out Harrison County. Should be a interest year in the 10th:ylsuper:

Bourbon returns their top 3 pitchers for sure. Harrison has Dustin Lewis and Brandon Martin who pitched the majority of the games last year. Brossart has a good pitching staff returning as well.

GRC will have something to say, i feel even though they didn't win the region last year, if you put them with anyone in a best of 5 or 7 series they come out victorious. I think the tenth looks like this:

1) GRC

2) Brossart

3) Harrison

4) Bourbon

5) The rest...

Should be a very intresting region.

Campbell Co. returns pitchers that got 15 of the Camels 18 wins last year. There JV also won 18 games last year. Should be another great year in the tenth region.

Augusta will be sporting something new this year, a new coach. Mr. Bill Pollack, new to the school this year. Have talked to him a few times and seems very egger to turn our program around and has coached before. Also returning a assistant coach in “Boots” Zigler (spelling). Nothing against Coach Kelsch, but he would even say that baseball was not his sport. I am sure he will stick around though. Would like to see these boys have some good luck this season. Maybe post a few wins. Not saying they will contend for a championship. Good luck to all teams..

Scott will be in the mix this year. Going to be a tough district with Scott, Brossart and Campbell County all bringing solid squads together for the upcoming season. Brossart will be able to make it out of the region and I'm going to say, for right now, that Scott will make it out of districts too. CC though will have something to say about that though. Good luck to all the teams:thumb:

I guess a good thing for the rest of the 10th Region is that you don't play a 5 or 7 game series. GRC may be top 5, but I still like Bourbon and Brossart as the co favorites with Harrison, Scott, GRC and Campbell in the mix with the right draw. And like I have said before, Pendleton will be ready to compete by Tournament time.

Scott loses a lot from a team that underachieved last year, They lose a lot of pitching and offense. Lost something like 10 seniors. Scott will be lead by Bush, Adams, and Robby Ryan on the mound. They will need to find a lot offense and leadership out of this group.

I don't think they really underachieved last year, I just don't think they were ready to compete with Harrison County in the Region. However, one really bad outing does not make them underachievers.

19-14 is really exactly what i would call achiving, this coming from somebody that was a part of last years Scott team. And not ready for Harrison, Scott beat Harrison 7-1 in their tournament, Harrison was the better team on that day. If i recall correctly Scott was something like 8-4 or 10-4 against the 10th region last year. If there is one thing this Scott will have is confidence, this group as Freshman won the 9th region and as sophmores placed runner-up in the 9th region J.V regionals, granted Freshman and J.V are compeletly different levels than varsity, but this group knows they can do it.

Martin is the tough lefty with the weird motion, right? He is really tough to read during the delivery, he is a tough lefty.
