  1. They hadn't beaten Harrison in over 15 years before his arrival.
  2. Yes that's true. Its usually a good game between the two as they are 3-3 with each other during Coach Whitaker's games against Coach Heringer.
  3. Estes went the distance for the Camels, giving up five hits and striking out six. Harrison's run came on a home run by Brandon Martin. The Camels had ten hits, two each by Jordan Woodruff,Andy Franzen, Jon Verst and Justin Franzen. Dye started for Harrison and was followed I believe by Durbin, Moore and Morrison. Camels have now won 11 of their last 13 and are 12-6 on the season. Next up is Brossart in a big district seeding game at St. Mary's tomorrow.
  4. No its doesn't count, nor do any of the stats.
  5. How many times is that these two have played this season?
  6. I'd have to go with Woodruff and Estes of Campbell County.
  7. Campbell County is 11-1, and having a great season.
  8. The error was not on a foul ball, the foul ball hit the top of the fence and went over it. The error was after the first two batters were retired and the shortstop made an error on a grounder that would have been the third out before any of the five runs scored.
  9. If there are two outs and an error is made that would have resulted in the third out had it not been made, all runs scoring after that error are unearned, whether its a home run or not.
  10. Bobby Estes pitched for the Camels and deserved a better fate. All five Royal runs in the second were unearned. Camels were impatient at the plate and totaled six hits for the game. The Royals had four hits. Royals made the plays when they had too and deserved the win.
  11. Would a mod please correct the score it was Campbell County 6 Calvary Christian 3
  12. Camels make it seven wins in a row and go 8-4 for the season with the come from behind win over the Pioneers. The Pioneers had a 5-2 lead entering the bottom of the sixth, when Ben Dreyer hit a two run single to narrow the gap to 5-4 going into the seventh. In the bottom of the seventh, Jordan Woodruff led off with a double and Andy Franzen drew a walk. Ben Franzen then singled in the tying run and Bobby Estes drove in the winning one on a single to left. Mark Hinkel picks up the win in relief of Ben Franzen. The Camels travel to Mason County tomorrow for a game with the Royals.:dancingpa
  13. Camels score three in the fifth and one in the sixth to beat Calvary in a district seeding game. Austin Studer hits a bases loaded double in the fifth to put the Camels up for good. Sophomore Adam Broering gets his second win of the season and Studer knocks in four runs in the game. It was the Camels sixth win in a row. Final was 6-3.
  14. Bobby Estes is now 3-0 for Campbell County and hasn't given up an earned run in fourteen innings this season.
  15. Camels get thirteen hits including home runs by Jordan Woodruff, Ben Franzen and Matt Coffman. Austin Studer goes two for two with three RBI, Andy Franzen two for three with two RBI and Woodruff knocks in three as well. Ben Dreyer goes the distance for the Camels scattering five hits. The Camels have now won five straight and play a doubleheader at home tomorrow, Calvary Christian in a district seeding game at five and Simon Kenton at seven.
  16. Ok, thanks, Lord knows we've had plenty of rain for this baseball season.
  17. Just curious, is Brossart playing all of their home games at Pendery this season?
  18. The Camels win the Barry Philpot Memorial Tournament with an impressive 8-4 win over host Knox Central. The Camels pound out eleven hits, with Andy Franzen having three, Austin Studer with two including a monster blast over the right center field fence in the first inning to give the Camels a 2-0 lead. Justin Franzen added two hits as did Jordan Woodruff. Woodruff goes six striking out nine and Matt Coffman pitches the seventh. Andy Franzen was seven for nine in the tournament, scoring five runs and knocking in five. The Camels have now won four in a row and face Pendleton Co. tomorrow in Alexandria.:dancingpa
  19. Austin Studer and Andy Franzen have one each for Campbell County this year.
  20. Sure he is. That's why he is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 8 2/3 innings so far this season:ylsuper:
  21. By the way the Camels made no errors in the game against Highlands today.
  22. Austin Studer hit it out directly over the 375 marker. He also added a double and Cory Gray had two hits as Sophomore Adam Broering and Junior Matt Coffman pitched well for the Camels.
