  1. Camels are 1-2 now with losses to #6 Lexington Christian and #25 Beechwood.
  2. Check your records, Bobby only pitched the last inning. He did not pitch in the sixth.
  3. Camels defeat Conner on Jordan Woodruff's one out single in the bottom of the seventh to score Andy Franzen with the winning run. Woodruff goes three for four with four RBI and pitches six innings striking out six and walking one. Bobby Estes gets his first Varsity win for the Camels, pitching a scoreless seventh. Camels have Cov. Cath. at Cov. Cath Friday at five, followed with another game with Calvary at home later Friday evening.:ylsuper:
  4. Ben Franzen of Campbell will be up there as well.
  5. Rowan County is no Mason County in any season.......Mason by 15.
  6. Keaton is a Sophomore in eligiblity, he did redshirt his freshman year. Good luck in the NCAA's Keaton, we are all proud of you.
  7. Maybe Coach Rowe knows you need to win that first one no matter who your playing to get to the semi finals. I doubt any of the other pitchers you mention will be playing Division I like Nathan is.
  8. Yes they have a good program down there in Nashville.
  9. Former Pendleton County Wildcat Keaton Belcher will be playing tonight for Belmont on ESPN2 at 7:00 in their conference tournament championship against Jacksonville. Winner gets the conference berth to the NCAA tourney. Good luck Keaton !!!
  10. Fun game to watch. Camels only hit 15 of 27 foul shots for the game. Both teams had two starters foul out. Thought the refs could have let them play a little more. Its a shame when that many fouls are called. Two class teams. Thanks to the four Camel seniors for a great season. It good to see Camel basketball back in the regional tournament. Camels were up nine going into the last quarter and Clark hit several threes to get them back in the game. It was hard for Camel fans to get to the game by 5:00. I agree a 6 and 8:30 start time would be much better. Very nice facility, first time I have been in the new gym.
  11. The draw will be most interesting. Good luck to all the teams. The 10th is always one of best atmospheres in high school basketball.
  12. Congrats to Scott on the hard fought win. They made the shots when they had to at the end of the game. I will say I saw one of the poorest examples of sportmanship by one of the Scott parents in all my years of attending high school sports. At the conclusion of the game and Scott's kids celebrating as they should, this parent in the blue hoodie, ran onto the floor and taunted the Campbell players, running along the Camel bench and screaming at them. It was disgusting and has no place in high school sports. Good luck to both teams at Montgomery County next week.
  13. Yes the draw will be interesting thats for sure.
  14. This one was really over after the first quarter as the Camels led 22-6. Camels place four players in double figures. Patrick Nerl had 17, Ben Franzen 14, Andy Franzen 10 and Petey Albrecht 10. Good luck Saturday night against Scott in the district and next week at Montgomery County in the regional.:dancingpa
  15. Congrats to the Tomcats and Coach Biggs. Good luck in the district finals and next week at Morehead.
  16. Camels were out of sync all night. Ryle out hustled them, shot better, rebounded better and played better defense. Camels will work hard to get ready for the District in practice this weekend I am sure. Good luck against the winner of Calvary and Silver Grove.
  17. Nerl and Albrecht are both Juniors. Congrats Pat and Petey.:dancingpa
  18. Could a mod delete this thread since there is another one on the same game
  19. Andy Franzen had a great game, several steals, lots of hustle and a couple threes i think. Camel defense was dominating tonight and Patrick Nerl went to war on the boards. Camels jump out to a 13-2 lead and never look back. Dixie's big man, Mace was not a factor and couldn't keep up with the quicker Camel big men.
  20. Camels dominate, jumping out to a 13-2 lead and never look back. Patrick Nerl was a horse on the boards tonight as the Camels win their sixth in a row and 17 of the season. The Camels close the regular season this Thursday at home against Ryle. Keep it going Camels, awesome D tonight in a very very complete team game.:dancingpa
  21. Camels in total control from the start. Starters play about half the game and the subs got plenty of action.
  22. They are predetermined, you can find them on the KHSAA website.
