Thoughts on returning teams and pre-season outlooks on the season?

I know my eagles lose a lot but there top 2 pitchers next year (Adkins and Adams) will be one of the top one 2 punches in the 10th, and Brian Fite will give the eagles some quality innings this year as well.

Harrison County should be strong next year after only loosing 2 seniors.

Harrison will be tough to beat for the next several years. They had a very good young team this year and nearly upset Clark in the Regional Finals.

Bishop Brossart is devasted by graduation and I believe Clark is to? correct me if i am wrong.

Most teams in the 10th region, with the exception of Harrison County and maybe a few others, will have very new lineups coming into this year due to graduation. IMO, Harrison County will be the favorite going into next year with teams like Clark, Scott, Campbell, Brossart, Mason and others coming in after in no particular order.

St. Pat might do something with Nick Anderson being one of the best catchers in the region, but they will have a very young team.

Wow!!!! You must follow the 40th pretty close. I live in the 40th an watched all four 40th district teams play a lot this past year and if I’m not mistaken, Montgomery only started 2 senior position players and they were in the outfield. As far as pitching goes, it was the 1st year 2 of the 3 starters threw any significant innings in a varsity game. If someone that follows the Indians closer please, chime in and correct me if I’m wrong, it wouldn't be the 1st time.

See, I told you wasn't the 1st time I was wrong.

Scott most likely will be the favorite in the 37th district next year due to the fact that they had some young talent mixed in with their varsity play. Also if Adams is able to rehab and come back from his arm injury last year, I believe Scott will for sure, IMO, be the favorite to win the district and be in the running for the regional title.

 

Scott has one of the best two pitcher combos with Adams and Adkins. Throw in some young talented pitchers like Taylor Smith to the mix and Scott might win the 10th. However, Harrison County is still the team to beat with all the players they have returning.
