I have no idea all I know is that it came over the announcements today at school. Maybe your thinking of the all tournament team? I'm just passing along what they put on the announcements.

No, it usually comes out the week before postseason play begins.

I dont't know. I guess they send it to the schools before they send it to the news papers etc.

Why would anyone select an all regional team before the district tournament. Should come after the state tournament.:ylsuper:

So you would penalize a player on a team that get's beat out in the first round of the district tournament? That's what would happen if you waited, the players that went deepest into the postseason would get more publicity.

Seems as though you would be just about as good 3 weeks from now as you are now regardless who beats who in the district or region. I don't want to penalize anyone and I don't think they will be penalized if they get beat in the district or regional. Either you can play better than someone else or you can't.
