  1. The Camel and Royal freshmen teams play tonight at 7:00 at Campbell Co. for the 10th region Championship. The Camels beat Clark Co. last night and the Royals beat Deming.
  2. Actually, Woodruff won 7 games last year for the Camels, more than Hurd and Bray combined. Bray didn't really have that good of a year last year, having arm problems in the early part of the season and control problems most of it as well.
  3. Where is the regional tournament going to be played. I know it was scheduled for Scott, but there is some question as to whether it will be played there because their not being enough room from home plate to the backstop. Does anyone have any info on this?
  4. Who cares how many threes a player has shot and who scores how many points if the team is winning and having their best season in years. I am sure if Coach Code thought things needed to be changed he would do it. Once again its a team game not an individual game, like golf or tennis. Keep it up boys, your having a good season that can get even better in the coming weeks.
  5. I agree Papa, you have hit the nail right on the head.
  6. 2000-2001 Camels went 22-8 on the season and won the 10th Region. It was their last winning season.
  7. That's 15 wins for the Camels, one more than they had all last year. Keep it up, lots of mo heading into the last weeks of the regular season and the district.:ylsuper:
  8. Lars King of Ohio Co. should be up there this year. I believe he finished second in the state last year at Bowling Green Country Club.
  9. Michael Petering of Campbell County should be listed as well. He tied Martin for medalist honors in the NKAC tournament, before Martin won the playoff and Petering also qualified for the State tournament last year. Wyatt will also be among the best in NKY this season, despite the constant bickering that goes on between the Brossart-Camel rivalary.
  10. Camels had four guys in double figures. In addition to Petey's 18, Nerl had 17, Ben Franzen 10 and Brady Jolly 10. Leading scorer for the Breds was John Michael Reitz with 14, with 10 of those coming at the foul line.
  11. He started out very hot, scored 6 of their first 9, but then Andy Franzen came in and really played him tough. He only ended up with 7 and didn't want any more of Mr. Franzen's D.
  12. This one was really over about midway through the second. It was 41-16 at one time and the Camels mostly just passed the ball around the last quarter. Next up is Dixie for the Camels. They are playing well right now. I think there were 4 Camels in double figures . Petey Albreicht had 17 and led the way despite fouling out with about 5 minutes left in the game.
  13. The Freshman Camels defeat Scott 41-37 to claim the title. Fairly close game throughout as both teams advance to the regional.
  14. The season pass is good for all sports, football, basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball and any other sports I neglected to include. Its really a good deal if you like coming out and supporting your school teams.
  15. In the 37th, Campbell County will play the winner of the Scott-Brossart, at 7:00 Wednesday night in the Desert.
  16. I think it was 61-48, but whatever it was a good bounce back win for the Camels after last nights OT loss to Cov Cath.
  17. Brian Sauerbeck, linebacker for Campbell County will be playing his college football at Morehead State University. Good luck Brian, I will enjoy watching you play for the Eagles since its my Alma Mater.....:thumb:
  18. What was the turnover totals for both teams? You can't throw the ball away three times in the last 54 seconds and expect to win. If the Camels had taken three ten seconds calls trying to get the ball across the midcourt line they wouldn't have been any worse off. They are still playing pretty good defense and that should bode well for the rest of their schedule and during tournament time.
  19. Congrats to the Mustangs!!! Keep it going. Your doing the 10th proud once again.
  20. That team also beat the Camels in the semi-finals of the regional on a disputed charging calling on the last play of the game that would have given the Camels the win.
  21. Austin Studer is a good one from Campbell County as well.
  22. Looks like that rematch will take place in the District in Alexandria that some people were talking about last week. Mustangs and Scott Eagles.
