CS, I am sure we have a common goal. That is the success of our district and our students. Because we go about it different ways or have different ideas on how it should be done doesn't make either of us wrong. Let's just hope the decision on a new coach is the correct one for the sake of Camel basketball.

Obiviously you haven't reviewed many of my posts. I only speak what most think and most are not disappointed with those folks gone. I think you better check your sources and not worry about mine. If you will take a look at the district website you will see several coaching positions available. Why not apply for one and really get on the bandwagon.

What has he done at Newport? They play a pretty weak schedule and haven't exactly set the world on fire.

The Sup. that caused all the changes in the Sullivan era is long gone, and the principal that caused the football coach and AD to leave is gone now too. The new principal is more athletically inclined and I think it would be a great place to coach if indeed Reitz is leaving.

Thanks Thorobred, didn't know Coach W had stepped down. He is still going to coach the Breds in baseball isn't he? I know Coach Kendall from his days at Pendleton Co. He will do an outstanding job as AD.

The concession stand isn't open by the band parents for the JV games now. The parents bring stuff and sell it outside the concession stand if at all. As for that being a reason for Joe's leaving nothing can be further from the truth. He left for a number of reasons but that wasn't one of them. Hopefully the new principal will be more athletically inclined and this will help the entire athletic program at the high school.

It it true BG Green what UK fan 59 says that Brossart's feeder school St. Mary's won't let them practice football on their soccer fields? What's up with that? Does the hierarchy of the diocese have any say in that matter? Looks like the High School should be able to use the Elementary school fields for goodness sakes.

Nate made his debut last night. 2/3 of an inning in relief, inherited two baserunners, one wild pitch allowed one run to score, a passed ball allowed the second one to score and he walked that batter. The next batter lined out to the first baseman for an unassisted double play. You can follow Nate's progress if you go to minorleaguebaseball.com and to the Appalachian League and the Bristol Sox. They have a log and box score for each of their games. Also TriCities.com is the local Bristol newspaper. Hope this helps everyone who is interested in following Nate's progress. I am sure he was quite nervous in his debut. Hang tough Nate, you will do fine.

Austin Studer of Campbell Co. drove in the first two runs for the East in the Junior game with a single to left and Jordan Woodruff of Campbell Co.knocked in the third run with a ground out. Woodruff pitched two scoreless innings for the East as well.

Shelby up 4-0 in the seventh with two on and two out.

Shelby County up 1-0 in the sixth.

Congrats to Jim and his family. No one wants to win more and always gives 100%.

Nathan Jones, former Pendleton County pitcher and NKU pitcher now, was drafted today by the Chicago White Sox in the fifth round. Way to go Nathan and best of luck. Hope to see you in the Majors someday. :dancingpa
