I thought that I would start this thread tonght on the Ky. State Baseball Tournament at Applebees Park in Lexington starting Wednesday, June 13th. Maybe people can post updates on games and final scores throughout the tournament so we can have them on one thread to check up on the tourney.

6/13 = Shelby County vs. Ryle - 6:00 pm

6/13 = Greenup County vs. Pleasure Ridge Park - 8:30pm

 

6/14 = Johnson Central vs. Paul Dunbar - 6:00pm

6/14 = Apollo vs. Heath - 8:30pm

 

6/15 = Semi Finals - 6:00 and 8:30pm

 

6/16 = State Championship Game - 7;00pm

Just a note for anyone in our (neky) area that is interested, WLGC 105.7 will be broadcasting the GCHS / PRP game tonight - 8:30pm :thumb:

SC leaves bases loaded in top of 3rd...After 2 1/2, still scoreless.

Shelby County up 1-0 in the sixth.

Shelby up 4-0 in the seventh with two on and two out.

5-0 Shelby top of 7th...Don't count the Raiders out yet though.

P.R.P. leads Greenup Co. 3-0 in the 2nd inning - I just lost the radio broadcast :irked: so I guess unless that I can get it back I'll have to wait for a final to be posted.

PRP 5-2 after 5.

Great job by Tyler Hieneman keeping his team in it, PRP got 5 early runs and Hieneman held tough and pitched well. GCHS has now brought in an 8th grader in relief. (didn't catch the name). Base hit PRP, lead goes to 6-2.
