Not unexpected to see Ashland beat Lewis Co, but is unexpected to see Ashland in the Regional Finals. I believe everyone needs to look back at their predictions before the Districts. Most of us didnt even have them coming out of Districts.

Well looks like it is either going to be Greenup County or Ashland this year after Greenup knocking off Boyd 3-2. Should be a decent ragional championship game.

Who didn't have them coming out of the districts? Fairview nor Rose Hill were good enough to beat them. I was actually surprised to see Fairview even stayed in the game with them.

Well the Fairview team I saw a week before districts made like 6 or 7 errors per game three straight games. Seemed very undisciplined at the plate and in the field.

I guess what I am saying, regardless what happened earlier in the season, I saw Fairview 3 games and Ashland like 4 games. Ashland was no doubt the better team.

I personally felt Fairview was better, but neither one of us can go by what we saw on the field, because the best teams that I saw play all year are sitting at home now, so hard to go by that.

 

I watched a Boyd/Ashland game earlier in the year where Boyd could have put 25 runs on the board if they wanted. I also watched Boyd put it all over Greenup earlier in year too, but are now sitting at home.

True, but no excuses at this point in the season. You have to have your team Groomed and ready to handle any team on any given night.

 

Personally with the talent Boyd has on the team this year, I felt like we should win hands down any given night...Even three nights in a row. But we seemed to be inconsistent all year and made a lot of mental mistakes all year. We are losing some great talent and would have liked to at least make it to Applebees this year.
