GRC had a great game despite the 2 throwing errors. Put the bat on the ball all night just couldn't find a hole. The Cards made some great plays to end innings. Lance Rose pitched phenomenal. Top of the 7th Cody Christopher led off with a single, Barker had a great At Bat but Royse won it getting the K. Josh Wood hit a ball the SS couldn't handle which made it 1st & 2nd w/ 1 out. Jeremy Greene had a great At Bat yet got the 2nd out flying out to the right fielder. Patrick Bailey hit a shot, but right to the Left Fielder giving Dunbar the first win of the series. Fought hard, but just came up short this time. Good Luck to the Cards tomorrow!!!

Hang in there Cards, you can still do it.

Wow! Another great pitching performance overshadowed by their 4th consecutive shut-out in games in the Semi-State/Sectionals. It's tough when the timely hits can't be found. Good luck tomorrow against PLD.

Hang in there Cards, you can still do it.

Good job Cards!! :ylsuper:

The Cardinal batters hit the ball hard all night, just right at PLD players. Come back strong on Thursday and force this to game three on Friday...:thumb:

Good Luck today grc. Who will be throwing for the Cards?

Jeremy Greene

Allison was disappointed with the loss, but not discouraged with the way his team played.

"We kept it close and they were feeling a little heat late in the game," he said. "We have been able to come back a few times and I think it was in the back of their minds. They have a great ball club and could still win the state tournament, but they still have to get by us first. We'll come back (Thursday) and give it our best shot."
