Nathan Jones, former Pendleton County pitcher and NKU pitcher now, was drafted today by the Chicago White Sox in the fifth round. Way to go Nathan and best of luck. Hope to see you in the Majors someday. :dancingpa

Congrats Nate!!! It was a pleasure of mine to get to see him pitch these last two years.

 

I hate that I won't be able to watch him pitch next year for the Norse but am happy that he was taken in the draft....couldn't have happened to a better guy.

Very impressive congrats are in order for both of those kids.

Wow congrats to Jones. I actually had the priveledge of playing against this kid my senior year in high school and he was just as impressive back then as he is now. Good luck at the next level.

As one of Nate's good friends, I just talked to him about an hour ago. He is currently in Bristol, Virginia with the White Sox advanced rookie league team, the Bristol White Sox. He said that he was going to be used from the bullpen to start his professional career. Their season starts tomorrow.
