At the open gym this week all of last years assistants were in attendance with Coach Code.

The Camel Boys golf team opened their season today on the back nine at A J Jolly with a 169-188 win over St. Patrick. Michael Petering was medalist with a four over 40, and Greg Schmidt added a 41 for the Camels.:ylsuper:

I hope so. I never understood why that was in place in the first place.

Camels need to be more aggressive on defense and some of the players need to be more willing to distribute the ball and others need to take more of the offensive load. I am sure new Coach Scott Code will address these issues and will have the Camels playing winning basketball.

What happened to Coach Welte?

Whats too bad is if the kid is from the county and didn't go to CCHS. Coach Styer has that program on the upswing and some parents still haven't seen the light.

That position was filled from an assistant principal at another school whose position had been eliminated. No administrators coach at CCHS. That stopped with the last super. five years ago.

Ok thanks for the insight. I am sure both of those guys would do a great job with more responsibilities. They are both good young men.

This years crosstown will have an added attraction no doubt about it.

I'll agree with you on that one LC. Willie would be a great addition to the Camel clan. This could be the biggest hire for Camel basketball in a long time. Hopefully the powers that be will make the right choice if indeed all of these fine coaches have thrown their hats into the ring.

Got to agree totally with you about the U. S. Congress. What a waste of time for the U. S. taxpayers money..... I think he was referring to the new principal at Beechwood when she referred to her former school playing at Paul Brown stadium.......

It's official, Reitz is the new Harrison Coach. It was in the Cynthiana paper today.

Has Harrison County formally named Coach Reitz the new coach yet? I couldn't find anything anywhere about it? I did see on the state Dept. of Ed. state website that they did have a PE opening at their high school.

I think Coach Schlarman loves the intensity of 10th Region basketball. It one of the most competitive regions in the state. I could be totally wrong, I have been before, but that is my reasoning as to why he might be interested.

Would that be the coach at Highlands? Do you suppose Coach Schlarman would like a return to the 10th Region? He would definitely be a good fit for the Camels.

Totally agree with you ballerm. Hopefully they will fit into the new coach's plans.

Tony is the former head coach at Silver Grove. He stepped down after last season because he felt he couldn't give the job the attention it needed due to the time he had to spend at his full time job away from coaching. I believe he is a former NCC athlete.
