Anyone have any ideas who the new coach will be?? Too early to spread what I consider to be just a rumor at this point, so I'll keep quiet until someone more informed like oldteacher. etc. speaks out; but if its true it may surprize the many on here expecting a "name" head coach from another school??

Yes--But again I'd call it a rumor until "someone in the know" chimes in?? If this and the other "rumors" are true, you'll find it went pretty much exactly like Mustang predicted on the other thread.

 

Scott would be a great hire for Campbell, and I kind of considered him a natural as he's already teaching in the school system, had a winning background, knows the program albiet from the outside, etc. We'll wait and see, and I'll be interested in the take of the Camel faithful on here if he's the one chosen.

There were four good candidates and I think that Scott Code will do a good job. He has had success as an assistant and now he has his chance as a head coach. He has been in the Camel family at Reiley for 10 years and should be a good fit for the Camels. I hope that he will consider keeping the current coachings staff because I feel that they deserve a chance in a new system. There are some young coaches at CCHS that are good for the program. I really do not feel it appropriate to announce this since I believe that it is confidential information. At least where I work we are not allowed to announce such items. And besides I have only heard from others who interviewed nothing official.

Totally agree ballerm, if those interviewed want it to be public, let them make that decision at their leisure.
