  1. Verst will not be back so lets put that to bed. Parks will be and should help the Camels.
  2. Camels will win and end the Mustangs streak. Big night for Nerl and Albreicht
  3. I know its only been two games but the Camels are playing some serious defense this season.
  4. Ashland by 20. Biggs shows Zornes its a new era in the 16th.
  5. They have to play. They are in the same district and it a seeding game.
  6. Granted the Camels did go inside alot, but hey if its working keep doing it until the other team stops it. I don't care where the points come from as long as the Camels win!!!!!
  7. Camels win Scott Code's head coaching debut over Calvary. Petey Albrecht leads the Camels with 25 points and a ton of rebounds. Patrick Nerl also adds 17 as the Camels start four juniors and a sophomore. :dancingpa
  8. Special teams play hurt the Camels as well, opening kickoff ran back for a TD, missed extra point and bad snaps to the punter were factors again last night. It was a problem for the Camels most of the season. This Senior class was part of a great rebuilding of the Camel football fortunes. Coach Styer and his staff have returned Camel football to respectability, continuing what was started during Coach Schlarmann's brief tenure.
  9. Keaton Belcher of Pendleton County hits three 3's in the game for Belmont. Great job Keaton !!!!
  10. Scott Code transferred from Brossart to Campbell County:laugh:
  11. Not sure but I think the playoff picture depends on the records of teams that the three tied teams have beaten, since Ryle beat the Camels, the Camels beat Simon, and Simon beat Ryle. If thats the case, next weeks game with NCC is even bigger for the Camels than it already was. Great game tonight by the Camel defense. Total domination by the Camels and had the interception been just knocked down instead of being caught on the two yard line on a four down play, the Camels would have gotten the ball on their own thirty five and would have avoided the safety that followed. Camels are playing super D now and giving up very few points.
  12. Good Luck to Michael Petering of Campbell County and Brandon Heineke of Brossart next week at Bowling Green. I am sure both of these players will represent their schools and their community well.:dancingpa:dancingpa
  13. Have never seen two inadvertent whistle calls cost two TD in a game like last night. If those plays hadn't been blown dead by the refs it would have been 35-0 at halftime. I think the Royals were done at that point. Even though those plays were called back it still established the tone for the game. Camels D definitely put on the big hits last night.
  14. Congrats to Coach Smith and the Lady Wildcats. Looks like the Smith girl on the Pendleton team learned to play from her mom!!!!! Good luck !!!
  15. Brossart, Campbell Co. and Mason rounded out the top five in team scores.
  16. Michael Petering tied for medalist honors in the recent NKAC championship with Cody Martin of Ryle with a one under 70 at Hickory Sticks. Martin won a one hole playoff. They might be two to watch.
  17. The Camels close out the regular season with a 170-173 win over Pendleton on the Wildcats home course at PC Country Club. Michael Petering was medalist with a two over 38 on the back nine. Camels are 8-2 on the season and the Wildcats are 6-10-1
  18. The Camels improved to 7-2 on the season with a 178-182 victory over the Mustangs on the back nine at AJ Jolly Park. Jordan Wyatt of Campbell County and Brandon Heinke were co-medalists with a two over par 38. Brossart is now 5-8 on the season.
  19. Camels rebound from the two consecutive losses, 28-7.
  20. The fact of the matter is, the Mustangs are going to take their lumps for a number of years in football. Its not like basketball or baseball. A football program takes years to build to be successful. It starts by getting numbers out for the team. While the effort is there for these fledging Mustang gridiron participants, its going to take more of them playing for them to be successful. It a matter of players wearing down, having to be on the field for most if not the entire game. Whether players that now go to Campbell County, NCC, or even Cov. Cath will go to Brossart in the future remains to be seen. If those kids want to be part of building a new program then they will be successful. If they are not patient, and want to be a part of an established program at one of those other schools, then it could be a very long time before the Mustangs reach the success on the football field that they have enjoyed on the diamond and hardwood over the last several years. I hope they are successful, it would be great to have a crosstown football rivalry, as the Camels and Mustangs now have in baseball and basketball.:thumb:

  22. When will the next Boys basketball realignment take place? Will there be a big shakeup like last time?
  23. When will the next Boys basketball realignment take place? Will there be a big shakeup like last time?
  24. CEO, who in your humble opinion will be the contenders for the regional title?
  25. It was a blowout by halftime, with the Camels playing there frontliners just a bit in the third. Pendleton needs to get some of that crew that were up in the stands down on the field. There were several students there that had decent size but for whatever reason elect to be spectators instead of helping their school build a program.
