Didn't see a thread on this one. Any report on the game? Was it a blowout early, or did Pendleton hang around for a while?

My understanding, close game after 1st quarter, as Pendleton boys gave a great effort.

Some who predicted a blowout before the opening kickoff were flatout wrong.

Another convincing win for CC. If I was BC or Ryle I would be taking notice now. Good job Camels!:thumb:

PC ran back the kickoff, someone mentioned CCHS would. But it was called back on a penalty. They hung around tough for only having 20 players. But after the first quarter it was all CCHS.

I would like to give some props to the PC players & coaching staff. Many of their players had to play both sides of the ball all night long. There was no quit in their game! If PC plays to this level each week, they will get their fair share of wins.

I was skeptical when they were added to the CC schedule for '07. However, they were a formidable opponent for much of the 1st half. They have some speed & athleticism but depth is an issue. Good job Wildcats! :thumb:

How does a team have a blowout game BEFORE the opening kickoff?

i think he means that CCHS would blow them out starting with the kickoff. PC hung around for a little, but then it became a blowout.

It was a blowout by halftime, with the Camels playing there frontliners just a bit in the third. Pendleton needs to get some of that crew that were up in the stands down on the field. There were several students there that had decent size but for whatever reason elect to be spectators instead of helping their school build a program.

Pendleton will suprise a few teams this year.

You may be right?? Campbell figures to be the toughest team on their schedule, and there's certainly some winable ones on the slate.

PC impressed me alot. About everyone in the stadium new they had no chance in this game, except the 19 PC players on that field. They came right out and smacked the Camels right in the mouth early on. That is a reflection on the coach. I think the Camels realized that these guys were serious and kind of turned it up.

PC has 4 or 5 players that would play a lot for any team in NKY. A couple very fast ones. And I assume #61 is the kid I heard was being looked at by some big schools. He would probably start for any school in Ky. He moves very well for a big kid.

The penalty was called on a completly clean hit that took place 10 yards behind the ball carrier...a rediculous call.

#61 is Nick Petitt

#61 is Kyle Pettit

"10 yards behind the ball carrier"-That's probably why it was called.
