Old Soda Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Camels win Scott Code's head coaching debut over Calvary. Petey Albrecht leads the Camels with 25 points and a ton of rebounds. Patrick Nerl also adds 17 as the Camels start four juniors and a sophomore. :dancingpa

Also it looked as though the game plan all night was pound it inside to Petey, they completly abandoned the perimeter
Old Soda Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 Granted the Camels did go inside alot, but hey if its working keep doing it until the other team stops it. I don't care where the points come from as long as the Camels win!!!!!

GrizzlyAdams Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Why do these two teams play? Most of Calvary's games are from their conference against Dayton, Bellevue, Villa, Heriage, Beechwood, Ludlow, Grove, and that's all from my knowing...
Old Soda Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 They have to play. They are in the same district and it a seeding game.
Qryche11 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Did Code clean house of the seniors or is this team just underclassmen heavy.
camelsfan Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Three seniors on the roster for Friday nights game. Andy Franzen should see a lot of playing time at guard, while Zeb Copley and Ryan Eten will backup Albrecht in the post. Senior Jordan Parks (last year's starting point guard) should be ready to play in about three weeks, and it seems senior shooting guard John Verst has been reinstated to the team. Camels should be a much better team with these last two additions, though I liked what I saw from the sophomore point guard in his first game. The extra depth and experience can't hurt.

Ok, so they are letting VErst back on the team and Parks was a name I remember hearing last year is coming back. That should make them even better. Thanks for the update.
Stayinline Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 If the players are returning please let it be by the decision of the head coach and not the meddling of parents. Words spoken about this are disappointing, if true. Chemistry is more than elements that are mixed in a classroom.
ShootingGuard20 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Who was the sophmore that started for the camels?
