Was one heck of a game. If Campbell could have hit free-throws down the stretch, they would have won. Congrats to the Cards on a good win.

Congrats to both on a fine season, and Clark for advancing. Hatton lead the scoring for the cards with 24 but the freshman win is as Stenzel hit foul shots to give them 61 and another freshmen hit a put back lay up with 1.5 seconds to give the Cards the victory.

Just got in from the game....I am wore out. Can't take many like this one. I was scared going into this game.,felt it would be close.

Hats off to the Campbell Co coaching staff and their players. Great game plan and almost pulled off the upset. Hold your head high boys you may not have won the game, but you are a class act.:thumb:

GRC escapes another close one in the region....seems like we do this every year. Arron Dini did not play tonight.

Hey Mix, I agree that our Freshman stepped up under pressure when we need them. The Freshman that had the put-back was Travis Pervis. He is going to be a great one. Robert Hatton lit them up when we need them. He has been doing this all season, he is a Junior. Foul trouble hurt us alot. I am really proud of this team. We only have 3 players back from last years 10th region champion team, way to go guys. Good to see Preston Knowles at the game tonight.

Wow the 37th district just can't seem to knock off the Cards! They just seem to slip through their fingers every time!

Great game Cards

Not a pretty game but GRC was tough enough to keep it close for most of the game. Shots weren't falling until late in the 4th quarter. It's all about survive and advance this time of the year and the Cards did just that.:thumb:

By the way, that last hail marry shot was too close for comfort.

How was the crowd?

Good showing from GRC. Lower Level was packed on their side the upper still could have fit a a lot more. Campbell's side wasn't very full. They had alot of open space. Then the endzone wasn't even near half way full and that was counting the Montgomery Co. players/personel.

It was just inches form going in.

How was the crowd?

GRC had a great crowd. More there for Campbell that I expected but still lots of empty seats on their side.

Wasn't Campbell County up pretty big going into their fourth quarter against Scott in the district final? They were up 8 or 9 tonight. Great ending, glad to see Evan Bennett hit the threee late in the game.

It is 110 miles to Montgomery County High School from Campbell County plus a starting time of 5:00 p.m. makes the game kind of tough for parents and students to get there.

The 5:00 and 8:30 start times are absolutely ridiculous. Montgomery County practically pushed you out the door after the GRC game.
