I talked to someone from Scott this weekend and found out that E.J. Murray, 10th region POY, has successfully walked on at Western Kentucky University. Congratulations to E.J., I wish him well at WKU.

E.J. Murray from Scott also was Honorable Mentioned All-State from the 10th region. Congratulations E.J., job well done.

Just recieved an e-mail saying that E.J. Murray from Scott is the 10th region player of the year. E.J. will also represent the 10 region in the Senior All-State game to be held at U.K. Congratulations E.J.

E.J. Murray of Scott had a great season. Batting over .400 and pitching the games Scott needed to win.

According to my sources they will be having hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, metts, bbq and slaw and chicken. From what I hear, there will be plenty of food so don't stop at the "golden corral".

Who pitched for both teams?

mcpapa, someone gave you incorrect information. The Scott-Harrison County game was called off yesterday.

Nick Hiller pitched 4 1/3 excellent innings and E.J. Murray came in and finished the game. Murray gets the win. Great clutch hitting by Hiller, Taylor Smith and Logan Taylor. This was a well played game at Shelby Co. Both teams came to play and it was enjoyable to watch. Scott is really playing well. Hopefully, the weather in the coming week will allow some games to be played.

Taylor Smith had a huge day going 2 for 3 with a three run homer and a grand slam. He also had a sac fly for a total of 8 RBI's. Nick Hiller gets the win with 3 strong innings of pitching. E.J. Murray was 1 for 1 with a double and 3 runs scored.

I saw in an earlier post that Scott's Murray had 26 points, for such a strong defensive game that seems pretty impressive.

Don't forget E.J. Murray from Scott and Bob Estes from Campbell who both repped the 10th region in the Junior East/West State All-Star game last year

What about Pat VanSant from Cov Cath. Is he getting any looks from D1 schools?

Does anyone have the box score or scoring totals for last night. All I heard was Murray from Scott had 28 points. Any other scoring for Harrison or Scott?

This all 9th team seems to be the lineup for the 2009 Kentucky Colonels. This will allow everyone to see if Northern Kentucky's best match up with the rest of the 18 U baseball teams in the Midwest.
