The Camels win in the bottom of the 7th. on a bad throw from the catcher on a passed ball trying to get the runner from advancing to 3rd. Andy Franzen ( Camels ) hits a huge 2 run homer to tie the game in the bottom of the 6th. Ben Dryer pitches 4 good innings and Ben Franzen 3 innings. Lloyd had 1 earned run. Camel are now 2-4 on the season and looking like they want to pull everything together.

While it was a tough loss for Lloyd, I thought this was a very good high school baseball game. Pitching was in control of this game all night long.

Pittman for Lloyd threw a great game making one mistake that got hit out of the park, and threw 77 pitches in the complete game loss. Also, the Campbell Co. pitchers did a great job all night and despite some defensive miscues they turned some key double plays when needed.

Two tough one-run losses for Lloyd this week. But being in those games will show them what it takes to win in the long run. That is why we get to play 36 of these games!

Bobby Estes came in in relief in the 7th of Ben Franzen.

Bobby Estes is a sub-par pitcher at best. My experiences against him shows that he has nothing but a fastball and a mediocre curveball at best.:walk:

I was wondering the same thing. I thought Estes came in and did a great job last night. Threw strikes and did all that was asked of him.
