I suppose the question could be a little confusing. I guess the question of transfer would come into the equation as there are just a handful of teams that would just about guarantee you a ring in three years of high school. The quality of education was not a part of the question. Like MT I would choose to stay at my home school and do my best to bring a championship there. When I played you rarely started as a sophomore unless you were very talnted, therefore our jv team was usaully very good and gave the starters all they wanted at practice.

Our line needs to get quicker and stronger, and we need to refine our passing game.

I wasn't implying good practice players aren't important. Fact is the more competetive your practices the better the team. I was just wondering which you would rather be a part of?

After reading the multiple posts about T and X and the number of kids they have on their teams I was just wondering. Would you rather go to a school and not play much and win a ring, or would you rather be a full time player and not have such a good chance to win a ring?

Boundries may have a little to do with it. When I coached middle school we played Shelby East out of Shelby County and their best running back was headed to either T or X can't remember which.

This was actually supposed to be a rebuilding year for Frankfort, so 11-2 and regional finals wasn't too bad. Should be improved next year with Quan Weaver returning for his senior year and a fairly young line getting a years experience. Of course how hard they work in the weight room will be a big factor.

I really don't know what type of offense Hazard runs, but if they can throw the ball they can give Beechwood some problems. They will have to shut down Beechwoods running game and I wish them luck with that. I see Beechwood doing about the same thing they did to us. Eventually wearing them down and taking over in the fourth quarter.

Beechwood is mentioned and they are a small school. The numbers you have to choose from in a school helps, but more so how many come out for football. A long time ago when I played at Frankfort High which is a small school we almost always had over 40 out for football. Now with soccer taking some kids we're lucky to get over 30. Numbers is for sure not the only reason, but try practicing with 23 kids sometime.

Fast strong guys are a serious combination to deal with. If you have that you can negate size. If your speed players are physically weak they will eventually get worn down.

As most have said better game than the score indicates. 21-14 BW and #5 makes a great interception midfield. Short drive 28-14. Fourth and an inch at midfield for FHS botched center QB exchange BW. Flips field position muffed punt by FHS recovered arounf 25 for BW short drive 35-14. Blocked punt BW short drive 42-14. The intensity was great and the Panthers eventually cracked. Good luck to BW the rest of the way, great program and we look forward to a rematch in the future.

I would probably agree that it is consistently one of the toughest districts especially when NCC was in there.

I really don't understand why you would think that other than being from NKY. No one in the district was even close to being competetive with Beechwood, and you have Raceland and LCA in another district with both of them ranked in the top 4 in the state. I think I would have to rate that district the toughest.

I wouldn't want to be Gallatin County. Frankfort tonight, Beechwood next week Semi's not sure then either LCA or Raceland.

I think the LCA Williamsburg game should be a very good one.

You must account for Danvilles QB running the ball also. Makes it pretty tough on the defense. If Green County is one dimensional I'd say they're in trouble.

Coach Buckett speaks the truth we listen to it as much as you all, and for them I apologize. I know that doesn't help much, kinda puts a black eye on the program.

You don't play games in the record book. A 4-6 team that played better teams and lost to them will be a better team on the field is what I'm saying. Now if you have two teams play the exact same schedule and they both end up 4-6 then yes it is equal. I'm not arguing either just trying to get my point across.

Frankfort vs Gallatin and Beechwood vs Ludlow are both rematches. At least we weren't playing a team in the first round that we had played three weeks ago.

Ludlow shouldn't be a surprise. Not to bash Eminence, but they only played two teams with winning records and were outscored 85-6 in those two games. 3 of their opponents were winless.
