First off I would like to say congrats to Beechwood on behalf of winning the district title and moving forward into the playoffs. Best of luck to Coach Rash and his staff.

 

Congrats to Beechwood on a good season and continued success in the playoffs. I would like to see them win state so we can keep that pride in NKY as being one of the more dominate areas of KY football. Secondly I would like to congratulate Ludlow on a good season. Hopefully the kids listen to Coach Hornsby. I know him personally and consider him a good friend. Ludlow kids and parents need to listen to him if they want this program to continue to develop.:thumb:

Someone posted in the previous thread that BW won the toughest single A district in the state. I find that hard to believe but I also don't know the other districts.

Yea Ludlow and Dayton are extremely tough.

That was me and it is my opinion that the NKY 1A district is the toughest in the state. Just my opinion. Good luck to Beechwood the rest of the way. I am extremely proud of the Ludlow Panthers. They played a very tough schedule (to tough IMO) and I look forward to the future of the program under Coach Hornsby's leadership.

Yes it is. Beechwood won, if I'm not mistaken, by a pretty good margin last year.

I really don't understand why you would think that other than being from NKY. No one in the district was even close to being competetive with Beechwood, and you have Raceland and LCA in another district with both of them ranked in the top 4 in the state. I think I would have to rate that district the toughest.

I will give you that. This year that is a very good district. But I believe over the long period the NKY 1A district has been the toughest. Again this just my opinion and I don't mean to slight any of the programs you've mentioned.

I would probably agree that it is consistently one of the toughest districts especially when NCC was in there.
