I know the season just ended yesterday and some younger kids havent had the chance to be evaluated yet, but what does your teams have comming back in the '09 season? I'm curious to hear how many starters and key players will be returning.. I'll start things off..

 

Bell County returns 7 starters on defense, (4 who will be seniors). Their is no real leader of this defense, these kids all just play so well and mesh together with each other. The biggest challenge will be to replace Matt Simpson at linebacker, and Tyler Harbin on the D-line. John Dudley Hilton returns after a strong soph. season, along with Keith Lowe and Matt Raines who were very big for the Bobcats all season long. Also return 4 players who will most likely move into the starting line-up that had a large ammount of playing time throughout the year will be returning as just juniors and sophmores.

 

On offense the biggest challenge will be to replace Zachery at QB and Merrick as kicker. Bell returns 6 on offense, keeping most of the O-line in tact, and returns Carton as a junior next year who had a terrific game at Louisville, looking like he will be the feature back next year. Also, the Bobcats are gonna have to find a replacement for the big Olineman and all-state team pick Jacob King. With the return of Matt Raines at wideout and the talented group of young backs, it should be another strong season for the Bobcats in '09.

Crittenden County graduates 3 players and has a very talented team coming in who hasn't ever lost a game.

Highlands will be loaded. Returning 11 starters and many many very talented backups! #19 is definitely within reach.

Fort Campbell only has ten Seniors on the team and some of them were not starters. Some of those Seniors were big-time players like First Team All-State LB Josh Carter, but FC seems to run an assembly line at building stud Linebackers; somebody will step up.

I expect the Falcons to be favorites to repeat in 2A.

Trinity will lose a Senior laiden team like every year especially on defense. I suspect they will be just fine. :dancingpa

I saw the JV and freshman teams play X. We have no worries. In fact, I think we are going to get better. We have some sophmores who are studs.

Boyle will be returning some great players for the '09 season. Reese mcshara will be our senior running back, along with senior QB Boone Goldsmith. There's a number of great linemen returning and the weakest position that I would forsee would be receiver. I'm sure coach French and crew will have them ready to rock soon enough. It's going to be an exciting year in 2009.

The Rocks will be strong at QB,RB,WR and DB's. The upcoming sophomores are LOADED with talent. If they come of age and mix well with the upper classmen, I see no reason we wont win #20

They are definately going to be tested early. From what I hear we're playing a VERY tough schedule. With that said, the coaches will no doubt have the men prepared for the post season.

I agree! As a Boyle fan, I realize that we lost about 4 senior recievers. Jordan Aumiller can be replaced by Lamar Dawson(tight end position). We all knows this kids potential. But what wide outs do we got coming back next year. Btw, you forgot to mention second team all-state DL Grant Aumiller is coming back. Man, I cannot wait for 2009. Praying for a big year in Boyle County! :thumb:

North Bullitt - 19 of 22 starting spots filled by seniors, ouch!

This was actually supposed to be a rebuilding year for Frankfort, so 11-2 and regional finals wasn't too bad. Should be improved next year with Quan Weaver returning for his senior year and a fairly young line getting a years experience. Of course how hard they work in the weight room will be a big factor.
