Great schedule of the Tigers. I am very excited about the matchups with Ballard, Central and CovCath; it's always nice to play someone new every once in a while. X hasn't played Ballard in over 8 years which is really surprising; last played Central in 02, and CovCath in 00. The four game stretch with LexCath, Male, Manual, and Trinity will be brutal. All in all should be fun! :thumb:

Have three games played on Friday and Saturday OR Saturday and Sunday without the one and a half hour or so break in between games. That way the crowds will be larger for all games, you only pay a flat fee instead of leaving and coming back to the stadium, you don't have to miss school or work to attend the game. Does this make sence to anyone but me? The first game for each day would start at noon and then the following games would be 30-45 min. following the preceeding game. The typical hs game last 2.5-3 hours. So if you start the first game at noon then the next game would start around 2:30-3ish, then the last game would start around 5-6ish. :thumb:

Yes, just to clerify, I didn't mean Servino was a bad coach, but he didn't have as great as success as a head coach then past and future head coaches in general. Anyone know what he's up to these days? PS Did Servino really removed the helmet decals from the helmets of 95 team towards the end of the season or was that just a rumor I heard back then? So if you can throw any coach into the same situation then why didn't Chuck Servino (T head coach 1995-1998) have the same success as past and future coaches at T? :thumb:

So are we going to act like 5 year olds and talk about X and T and how one is so much better then the other or are we going to talk about the X - H game? I would like to wish the departing seniors farewell and thank them for four successful years. Two state title games and one championship - not many former football Tigers can claim such accomplishments. As for the returning lettermen it's time to prepare for 2007 as the rental lease on the state title is in it's final year and must be returned by next December to its rightful home! :thumb:

Any word on where this will be played? Obviously, PJCS has the best playing surface, but it's Male's call. As for the game, I have not seen either team play, but judging from what I read in the papers, BGP, and what I see on Friday Night Flights I would have to say that Male will pull this one out. Sure they let X back in the game first go round, but that was their first true test of the season and since then they had a four quarter game with both Manual and PRP the past two weeks. Male has beter athletes at the skill positions and I think their O and D lines are more physical then X this year. The Bulldogs haven't been in this position since Bush's senior year and I think Coach Red will have them more then ready for the contest this Friday. Male 24 St. X 12 :thumb:

You were "shocked when you seen them"? Where did you go to school? I was also wondering the same thing, but at least it's the same color gold as the uniform. Part of me thinks that as long as Vic produces the way he has all season then who cares what cleats he wears; however, I would like to see everyone in black cleats. I also have the same feelings towards the vizors that players wear on their facemasks. Are they wearing it for looks or do they really get poked in the eye? You can also make the same point about gloves; some players wear them; some don't. Some are white, black, green, gold, gray, etc. I've also noticed a couple Trinity players wearing black cleats the past couple years when the team prodominatly wears white. O well. I guess if Coach G or Wags has a problem with it they will deal with it. :thumb:

I haven't been to Male, but I was at Manual Stadium last week and the field looked great. Too bad they will be putting turf down next season; how about some new lights! I couldn't imagine St. X choosing to play at Male if Manual Stadium or PJCS are available. :thumb:
