I didn't say meaningless; I said there will be less of a value in winning a state championship with 6 classes instead of 4. There is a difference. You can't honestly say that if Dixie ended up winning state in 04 - by beating Boone Co, Scott Co, and then St. X after knocking off the Rockheads - it would have equal value then beating teams clearly on lesser playing field in 07 since you probably won't be placed in 6A. :thumb:

The "value" of winning a football title in KY will take a huge hit when the expansion occurs in 07. Talk about watered down; 6 champions with only 221 football teams? Sounds like a great idea to me. :irked: :thumb:

1. I have heard that this years OL will be more fundamentally sound then last year - and I'll take better fundamentals over size anyday. 2. Whoever replaces Curley will have large shoes to fill. We have to remember to be paitent with whoever is calling the signals this year. 3. I'm sick and tired of hearing about unfinished business, payback, and last game; last year is over. This is a new season and it's time to start paying forward then worrying about payback. :thumb:

We went to the title game in all three of those years; won it in 99 and 04 and runner up in 03. Also, in 97, we started 2-3 - losing to Cincy St. X, the Bullfrogs and the Rockheads - before winning the state title. So if losing this game in August means a state title in Novemeber I'll take the loss. :thumb:

Male hasn't done anything, except beat Manual, since Bush left and I don't see their luck changing anytime soon. Of course I voted for X obviously, but it very well could be the Rockheads again this year. September 22nd may be the best X - T game in years with a possible sequal to follow in the regional final. :thumb:

I know Male made it to the semifinals defeating St. X 19-6 in the quarters. Trinity was also defeated in the quarters by Shelby Co. on a last second interception. I left after both of those games were complete. :thumb:
