I agree with Clubberlang...the biggest difference in this game was T's D. They may have given up a lot of yards, but yards do not win games - or championships in this matter...points do. The philosophy of Coach Bean's D has always been "bend, but don't break". (I think that's why T fans have been disgruntled about the D the past two years) Coach Bean's philosophy has been the same way since he was at Oldham Co. High back in the 80s; at St. X during the 90s; and now at Trinity. As much as I hate seeing Coach Bean at T I'm happy that he's coaching once again - a mind is a terrible thing to waste. :thumb:

Did you not see the final score of the game against Warren Central...62-12. That's a 50 pt. win against a state semifinalist; no way are these Tigers worn down. Coach Glaser even said that he scheduled the tough competition so his team would be used to it come playoff time. It seems to have paid off. :thumb:

X can and will counter this move by sending their DE on stunts just as they are known to do against the Rockheads. In order for T to have major success passing the ball they will have to establish the running game, which is a very tough task against this Tiger D. Does anyone have any input on how X will scheme the Rockhead O and vice versa? What "dark horse" player(s) for each team will impact the game? What about coaching? I know Coach Bean has been very successful in championship games. While he was DC at X he went 4-1 in championship games with 3 shutouts. :thumb:
