  1. The C-J only mentions JCPS home fields; X is a non-JCPS team/home field hence the 7:30 start. http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070824/SPORTS05/70824045/1002/SPORTS :thumb:
  2. Any chance the St. X - Trinity game will ever be picked up? :thumb:
  3. How about putting it on the Big Blue Network? In Louisville that would be channel 70 for Insight customers. The BBN showed several UK baseball games this past season. :thumb:
  4. http://www.columbusdispatch.com/dispatch/content/sports/stories/2007/05/25/osu_turf25.ART_ART_05-25-07_C1_9P6QO0A.html I guess the next question is will the OHSAA move most, or all, of the state championship games to The Shoe? :thumb:
  5. The turf is making its second-go-round; it was only a matter of time... http://ohiostatebuckeyes.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/051507aaa.html :thumb:

  7. If you think about, the only teams that will bring a crowd to St. X - even when X played at Manual Stadium - are Male's varsity, and Trinity's Frosh and JV teams. So having more visitor seating then 1,000 doesn't really add up. :thumb:
  8. Any idea when TIGERS in the endzones will be painted GOLD :irked: :thumb:
  9. I'm sure it's less then the number of obnoxious UK fans that want Tubby out. :thumb:
  10. It's amazing how another dukie-pukie loss turns your weekend for the better. :thumb:
  11. Can someone tell me what Petrino factually lied about? :thumb:
  12. Glad to see Vic decided to stay in state; although, I'd rather see him at UK. But oh well. UofL will have a loaded backfield next year! :scared: :thumb:
  13. That's a long walk from Coy's to St. X and if you were like me after leaving Chex I was not in condition to drive a car. You might be speaking of the pizza pub behind/next to Cissna's although I don't know the name or how great it is. :thumb:
  14. In Louisville the next closest would have to be Male. PS Great Mercy video!!! :thumb:
  15. In Louisville the next closest would have to be Male. :thumb:
  16. What's interesting is that Parcells says he's retiring from football coaching; could be an outstanding front office man for a franchise. Can anyone else hear Bill Coward's phone ringing? PS This out of Alabama...Nich Saban has ZERO interest in the Cowboys HC vacancy. :thumb:
  17. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2738949 :thumb:
  18. Parcels announced earlier this morning that he will step down as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys and retire from coaching. More to come... :thumb:
  19. ^ Maybe Cards fans should get the emails going to Jurich. :thumb:
  20. What's crazy is that these two actually went to the same HS in Akron if I'm not mistaken. Beanie is very well aware of the mistakes Clarret made and has made a public statement not to follow in those footsteps. On another note...I was looking ahead at the OSU schedules and noticed in 2010 they still have a vacency in the schedule for Oct. 30th. Anyway they could get UofL or another team from the south (hint hint SEC)? http://www.jimtressel.com/schedule/index.asp?year=2010 :thumb:
  21. I didn't say anything about applogizing for Glaser; what he says on the radio or in the paper doesn't affect what I think or how I act at all. If the T fans/program is on a higher stage then X then why not act like it and turn the other cheek whenever Glaser goes on the record? :thumb:
  22. The funniest thing about you Trinity backers is how worked up you get whenever coach Glaser says anything these days. Sounds like some people need something else to occupy their time. :thumb:
  23. 1. This is what the leader of the Buckeyes had to say about the NC game, "...I'm a realist. I have an understanding that not everything in life is going to go the exact same way that you want it to…I don't have any regrets, though. I really don't. We came out. We fought. If we come up short and you know this is the worst thing that happens in life to us, then I'm pretty cool." - Troy Smith 2. To say that OSU will not be one of the top teams in the country next year is crazy. In 2005 they lost several players from their D to the NFL and they ended up having a better season in 06 when 05 was supposed to be "the year". 3. The fact that UofL fans on BGP still think UofL could run with OSU or Michigan or put up a better showing against Florida is just as crazy. They couldn't even beat Rutgers of all teams when everything was on the line. What makes you think they could run with OSU or Michigan? 4. Not that I'm bashing UofL because I would like to see them in the NC game since I went to UofL and live in Louisville, but for years they have been complaining about not being mentioned with the other top teams in the country and they get their chance against Rutgers and blow a 17 point halftime lead. Request for respect...DENIED! Even an Orange Bowl win didn't really convince people throughout the country since they dropped in the polls. I guess you have to pull off a Boise St. and knock off a traditional power, Oklahoma, on a grander stage. 5. Best of luck to all the teams mentioned above in 07! :thumb:
