  2. Chalk up another one for The Vest. :thumb:
  3. Not really the correct thread to ask such a question, but since you did ask I will straight up tell you that since TOSU lost it is too close to call who will be there. LSU still has Arkansas and the SEC championship game (UGA or Florida); Oregon has Arizona, UCLA, and Oregon St.; Oklahoma has Oklahoma St. and the Big 12 championship game(Kansas or Mizzou); Kansas has Mizzou and possible Big 12 championship game (Oklahoma) - same for Mizzou; West Virgina has Cincy, UConn, and Pitt. Like I said, now that TOSU are behind all these teams there is still a lot more football left to be played. May the best teams win. :thumb:
  4. Give me The Bucks by 3 on a field goal under one min. The team up north gets the ball back, but can't get down the field for a field goal of their own. GO BUCKS MICHIGAN SUCKS! PS How does this game not have any BCS implications? The winner goes to the Rose Bowl!! :thumb:
  5. Nice game by Illinois; I was talking smack early last week about how Illnois did not stand a chance. Their QB looked great and made big plays down the stretch. As for the Bucks, the season is not over and the BCS title game still is not out of the picture. The team up north is next and with a win there they will wrap up their third straight Big 10 title and play in no worse then the Rose Bowl - not to mention a fourth straight win over the team up north. GO BUCKS MICHIGAN SUCKS! :thumb:
  6. You might want to go back and check your history book. :thumb:
  7. Bring it on; if UK can beat LSU what do you think TOSU can do? :thumb:
  8. Yeah right; just another bump in the road of The Bucks national championship quest! :fight: :thumb:
  9. If the Cats manage to win only 1 of their last three games they will be in the Outback Bowl for two reasons: 1. It will be against a Big 10 team and the way the Big 10 has been playing this year, save TOSU, UK should be able to compete with any team in that conference. 2. The fact that UK travels well cannot be overlooked. At the Music City Bowl last season it was 85% blue; not to mention the other thousands of Cat fans that went to Nashville and did not get a ticket. In their last Outback Bowl appearence - 1999 against Penn St. - Cat fans flocked to Tampa and the game was sold out. I am positive it would happen again. $$$$$$ :thumb:
  10. The offense was solid all night and the D tightened up after giving up its first points in an opening quarter this season. This team appears to be on a mission and The Vest is not holding anything back! Up next for The Bucks is Wisconsin at The Shoe - the last time these two teams played was in 04 and the Badgers came to Columbus and embaressed TOSU. :fight: :thumb:
  11. The Trinity Tigers - to words I never thought would be put together. :thumb:
  12. I would have to say that A is penalized for an illegal forward pass. If B accepts the penalty it will be 5 yards from the spot of the foul and loss of down. If B declines the penalty you have a TD for B. :thumb:
  13. A is penalized for an illegal forward pass at the spot of the foul. If B declines it is a TD. If B accepts the penalty would be marked off from the spot of the foul and it would be 1st and 10 for A at the B 15. However, since time expired the game would be over since loss of down fouls do not permit an untimed down. :thumb:
  14. The back-loaded schedule for OSU this year could not have worked out any better; it has given time for this team to gel and the young offense to grow. Offensivley they still have room for improvement; although, I believe they are getting better from a physical and statistical standpoint week by week. B. Wells has become more patient and letting the O-line create the running lanes he needs. M. Wells has also become a consistent threat out of the back field running and receiving. The O-line is becoming more aggressive upfront and creating new lines of scrimmage in the defensive backfield. Robiske, Hartline, and Small are stretching the field which will only help the running game. The defense is one of the best in college football regardless of who they have been playing. The most amazing statistic is they have forced more punts then they have given up points to opposing teams. Now how many other schools can claim that? Again, the subpar competition has allowed the defense to grow fundamentaly and add depth at certain positions - mostly the DL. Next up for The Bucks is that other team from up north. Should be a good one as MSU always play The Bucks tough in The Shoe. GO BUCKS MICHIGAN (STATE) SUCKS! :thumb:
  15. UK's defensive stop to end the game marked the first time this year LSU has not converted a fourth down. :thumb:
  16. Someone needed to tell them Xavier is pronounced zA-vier. Oh well; great video! :thumb:
  17. Why don't you people, both X and T fans alike, stop reading into what your oppossing coach says and/or does after each game. This is meant to be about the kids; so why don't we keep the focus on them? :thumb:
  18. Does anyone remember the last time this was not a district game? :thumb:
  19. The night game at Purdue will be a tough task. The last time The Bucks played at Purdue they lost (2004). :thumb:
  20. This game is on right now on the Big Ten Network; in Louisville it is channel 75. :thumb:
  21. Nice opener for The Bucks. Watching the game it looked like every offensive player saw some action and some preseason questions concerning the O received some answers. QB Todd Boeckman (17/23 225YDS 2TD 0INT) looked comfortable in the pocket all day, was able to put the ball on the money, and showed they he could take a hit or two. WR Brian Robiskie (9REC 153YDS) had a breakout game and looks to be the go-to-guy amoung receivers. Brian Hartline saw a fair share of balls and Dane Sanzenbacher showed that he could get open, but needs to catch the ball when it's not for a TD. Maybe he's been watching too many old highlights of Chris Carter. Backup QB's Rob Schoenoft and Antonio Henton also led TD scoring drives. The RB position looks fairly deep with true freshman Brandon Saine (10CAR 42TDS 1TD) opening his career with some explosive runs. I would look to see more of him as the season moves a long; giving breathers for Beanie (16CAR 46YDS 1TD) and Mo Wells. The O-line needs to be more aggressive in the red zone. The ferocious Penguin D was able to stuff several dive and off tackle plays near the goal line. The D was solid as expected; however, DE Lawrence Wilson is probably out for the year with a broken leg. All in all a pretty solid effort by every Buckeye as they continue to tune up for conference play. Akron is up next. :thumb:
  22. 10 - 15 spots? Are you crazy? The #5 team in the nation just lost to a 1-AA school. They will no doubt fall out of the top 25 and should be banned from any BCS bowl even if they win the Big 10. :thumb:
