Believe your numbers on CovCath are incorrect. Didn't start football until 1967 and were 270-179 coming into this season.

Not sure where I had gotten their numbers. Just went to their website, and they have 266-178-1 showing thru 2004. Need to roll in 2005 and we'll update.

School opened in 1953. First title in 1968 and 38 years later we've got 16 more.

 

I believe X has been around since the late 1800's or early 1900's.

Although St. X. was founded in 1864, the first football game was played in 1917 against Jeffersonville High School in an open space at Clay and Kentucky Streets called Lutz Park. The Tigers beat the Red Devils by a score of 20-0. Three of the starters for X were from Indiana, two from New Albany and one from Jeffersonville. This just shows that there is a long tradition of St. X. families from Southern Indiana. :thumb:
