Male/PRP/Lex.Catholic

In my opinion these are the three teams to beat. I've seen them all play and Male is on one of the best streaks this state has seen in a while. It seems they win every game they play, no matter who it is. Catholic is on a hot streak as of late and their staff is pretty deep with 2 lefties and a couple good righties. Defense is their strong point with a fast OF and one of the quickest middle duos I've ever seen. Their first basemen is also very solid and can scoop anything. PRP is very solid all around and are capable of beating anyone. They have a potent offense but also a staff to compliment them. These teams all have a bulls-eye on them and people will be gunning for them. Good luck to all these teams.

I rank them

1. PRP

2. Male

3. Cath

I really think that the winner of the Harrison vs. Beechwood series will make a very strong run at state.

Beechwood the winner already of the All-A.

Harrison with just there past and great coaching.

So much for Male, Fox 41 news reported ST. X knocked them off 3-1 tonight!!!

Congratulations to Coach Joe White and the entire baseball program; this one is long overdue.

Hopefully by State Tourn time Boyd Co will be on this list. They have played well of late and have 3 quality starters at pitcher, which always comes in handy during sectionals and state. Maynard can put any of the three out there with the confidence that they will win.

I agree, Boyd County is a quality team. I didn't have them as one of my top 3 but after tonights St. X victory over Male they may have slid into that 3rd spot. All of those teams are solid, however, and can play with anyone in the state. Wouldn't mind seeing these three teams with State Tournament berths!

Would love to see a PRP-Harrison matchup at state for old times sake.
