This is a very interesting matchup, Trigg has been down at the end of the season and pulls out a win against Fulton County convincingly, which may or may not show that they are back to 100% and Murray has played some decent ball this year it seems, could be a close one!!

I thought that the KHSAA did do a radio broadcast of the finals. I am pretty sure that I listened to the Danville/NCC game last year off of their website.

This is really cool, I have always been hoping that I could either watch live games or watch film on some site. I know it takes a lot of bandwidth, but it would be really cool to be able to watch games from all over the state.

I heard that Ethan Kemp's head injury was an inner ear infection instead of a concussion, that was great news to hear!! I was more worried about his future life instead of football but its good to hear he will be in the lineup for the rest of the season, is he a senior?

Mayfield didn't need to open the offense up, but I would have liked to have seen it happen, the defense was playing in the box just like Calloway, Fulton City, and Marshall have done against us, nobody is respecting our passing game. I simply would like to see some more passing mixed in there, but how can you argue it when your running game is looking so good. The bright thing I saw last night was our defense playing up closer to the receivers, we were there to either block the ball, make the interception or the tackle on several downs, I haven't seen that all season, maybe in the Graves game, but the defense looked superb. The offense was much improved, just has to not cave when they get into the red zone, not sure what is going on there.

We are definitely having a strange season, I can't remember but from my memory the worst season Mayfield has had as far as my memory goes is 6-4, somebody correct me if I am wrong.

I think Marshall and Graves would hand it to Lone Oak, we'll see how Calloway does against Graves this Friday night.

Well, I know you know more than prob most of us since your boy plays on the team. I figured it was a few bad ones that was spoiling it for the rest of em, I really hope they come together as a team tonight, a win would be nice, but I first and foremost hope for the effort we saw in the first 6 games, thats all!!

Somebody said a helicopter was going to the Marshall county and Lone Oak fields to dry them out, its just hearsay tho.

Gotta admit, the fulton folks have really hyped this game up and made it a lot bigger than it could have been!!!

According to the KHSAA, the highest amt of injuries are from Soccer, makes sense, a lot of contact with very little protection.

I would think that its pass interference on this play and the offense gets half the distance from the infraction, thats my guess.

If Mayfield plays like they did Friday night, history could be made.

It seems like it, but you have to hand it to Calloway, the Willis kid is really good, he is huge and has good speed. Mayfield has a long way to go defensively IMO, I thought we had a better pass defense than that and it was just a let down. Yeah, this could be the beginning of a good rivalry between the two schools, only time will tell. Our boys need to pick their heads up and get ready for Fulton City cause they will definitely be ready after this game.
