I was not going to the game tonight regardless of who was playing but I did go to the session this morning. During the Apollo/PRP game I heard several people say that if PRP won the 2nd game that they would not be attending the championship game to watch two Louisville teams play. I like to see regions 13-16 do good and I have found myself rooting for the 11th region a lot lately also. Besides that I could care less what teams are playing for the title. During the Graves/Jtown game the whole arena was rooting for Graves County, besides the Charger fans and it was the same way for the 2nd game with the crowd getting pretty loud for Apollo in the 4th quarter.

A state title in football, the 1st region title in basketball in 34 years, and the most impressive is winning the Govenors Cup. The Russell Independent School System has A LOT to be proud of regardless of what some might say. Congrats to the basketball Devils on a great season!!

The Expo is by far the best gym/venue east of Lexington IMO and I agree with most that it should be held there every year and it is a no brainer. I say we have seen the end of region tournaments at high schools in the 15th region.

JC is hanging in there as of right now...I hope they can keep it close but I will be surprised if they do but you never know. Go Eagles!!

I'll take Magoffin County to win the region also but Pike Central is a good team but like has allready been mentioned they are young. The Hawks have a good shot at winning the region title next year but I am going with the Hornets in 06. Having said that I hope Central comes out win the big win tonight at the Expo. Good luck to both teams and whoever wins represent the region well in Bowling Green. If the Hornets win tonight they seem to have the talent to make some noise at the state tournament. GO HAWKS!!

According to Jeff Drummond at the Cats Pause the Cats have offered a full-ride to Aces O-Lineman Paul Millay. Millay, 6-4 285 pounds, is projected as a OG I believe at the next level. Millay is the 7th instate player to receive a scholarship offer from the Cats, and the 4th O-Lineman from KY to get a offer from UK. Belfry does play NewCath and Pikeville plays Henry Clay, both games should be played on the same night IMO whether it is played at Pikeville or Belfry.

IS the Pike County Bowl going to be played at Belfry and Pikeville again this year? I wish the Panthers and Pirates still played on the same night, whether they play at Belfry or Pikeville. I don't know if I can take another Shelby Valley-East Ridge matchup on the same night Pikeville plays.

I hope JC can win Wednesday but I dont see it...good luck Eagles!!

Congrats JC The championship game of JC vs. SV/Belfry is going to be a good game that could go either way whether the Eagles are playing Belfry or Valley.

It will be interesting to see how man are in attendance at tonights games and the championship game tommorrow. I say tonight may be the largest crowd ever at a 15th region tounament game.
