Sean Thompson, Franklin County. 6-4 230 and has an absolute gun. Clocked at 88MPH in baseball as a freshmen last year and also punts for the Flyers and has turned in several over 50 yards in his short career. This kid is only a sophmore and age wise could be a freshmen.

Frankfort 46 Trimble- 6 Too much Frankfort Defense for Byrd. That is what makes them a threat for the pizza box. Their defense is better than it has ever been.

Frankfort 48 Garrard 6. Too much speed on the edge on both sides of the ball for the Lions to get much accomplished and nothing happens for the home team in the middle with Jordan Morgan roaming around.

Turnovers were key as were the penalties on Franklin County. Never could hit a big play every series for a number of flubs in the penalty department. The other big key was Franklin County ran 67 plays and FHS ran only 43 plays. County ran the ball 35 times and threw it 32 therefore keeping EJ Fields on defense instead of offense.

This is one is drawing me out of Louisville to come watch, I expect a great game.....That being said, Frankfort finds a way to beat "Big Brother." The Deuce is loose in Bellepoint to cheer on the Panthers in a classic!! Outside of a Cliffside slawdog I can't think of anything better to be a part of in the capitol city on a Friday night!! I don't see any way that Franklin County can stop Frankfort High's speed in this one. Frankfort is one of the top two-three teams in its class and Franklin County looks to have a team that has some decent players but if those players were playing at Frankfort High they would be playing behind most of the Panther starters on both sides of the ball. This one may not even be close!!

He is an assistant at Franklin County. He has been there the last five years. Calling the defense on Friday night while coaching the offensive and defensive lines for Coach Walker. Played collegiately at Morehead State I believe. Also runs the weightroom for Coach Walker. Very good young coach and very knowledgeable about the Franklin County school system and how things work.

Coach Ledford deserves a shot at this one. He has been through the last two head coaches and done an exceptional job. The pieces are in place but chemistry with the FCHS players is the number one key to them being successful. Its the number key anywhere in the city of Frankfort when it comes to athletics. Coach Ledford has that comradarie and understands the feeder systems in Frankfort and what needs to be done in order to help the program be enhanced by them. The clientele of Franklin County and the beliefs of Coach Ledford are a good match.

Does Conner have a bunch of seniors or some good young players???
