Mason Co. has to drop down just because of the lack of bench strength and not to beat a really dead horse here, but the coaching staff's unwillingness to strengthen it. You can't play 3 or 4 on 5 and expect to go far. Three good individual players in their own right but the team aspect is questionable at times, especially this coming year.

1. Montgomery Co. until someone in the region knocks them off!

2. Clark Co.

3. Paris

4. Mason Co.

5. Bracken Co.

6. Bishop Brossart

7. Pendleton Co.

I am not so sure about Bishop Brossart. They lost a lot of seniors last year. But they also have a heck of a coach. I agree with U Reach. I think Bracken County is going to be a team to be reckoned with this year. Best of luck to all teams in the 10th region this year.

Top 4 are solid, but I would put Harrison in the 5 spot.
I agree. 4 starters back. Jett back after acl tear. No bench though. The next year is when they move to the bottom of the pack losing 4 senior starters.

I think the first four are pretty safe bets, but numbers 5-10 is a toss up it's going to come down to coaching expertise, players effort, and who stays away from injuries.

2 Paris

3 Mason

4 Clark

5 Harrison

6 Pendleton

7 Bracken

8 Brossart

9 Bourbon

10 Campbell

11 Scott

It could be a long year at the Lady Devils find someone to lead them after the departure of Keisha Woods, Coming back are Erin Carmack, Kelsey Carmack, Stephanie Isacc, Chelsa Fryman, Jessica Mitchell, Jessica Hester.

I'd have to agree but it will be great experience for the younger players

Montgomery is king of the hill (Maybe a bad analogy for girls' basketball) until someone knocks them off.

Mason, Clark and Paris are interchangeable in the 2-4 spots. Chambers, Cline and Litzinger have been the nucleus of the Lady Royals for three years, but as has been pointed out before, there is no bench. Clark is on the rise; I'm very impressed with their young players. They nearly knocked off Mason in last year's regional tourney. Paris is very athletic and I keep hearing praises for their coaching staff. However, the only time I saw them last year (at Mason County; and yes, one game is not enough to develop a full-fledged opinion); their game plan was seemingly to chuck up threes by the dozen and hope for a long rebound. They rarely penetrated and didn't take advantage of their team speed to try to get Mason in foul trouble.

The next tier is Harrison, Pendleton, Bracken, Scott, Bourbon, Brossart, and maybe Campbell County. It will be interesting to see if any of these teams separates from the pack.
