Round 2 tomorrow night! Franklin County cruised through round #1 of District play by an average winning margin of 38 points. The first time these two played it was 86-52. Will it be different this time?

Franklin County needs to improve on its transition defense. They did not do a good job in this area against Dunbar as they scored at will on run outs after FC scores and missed shots. FC's players did not protect the basket on the defensive end by sprinting beyond the foul line to prevent layups.

 

As a former Franklin County Coach would have said, they played the game in the "TIRD ZONE" (between the foul lines). The players that operated in the "TIRD ZONE" under this former coach usually found themselves spending long periods of time on the bench.

 

Hope tonight is not a repeat of Dunbar as Frankfort does have speed.
