Hardest Place to Win at in the NCAA?
Belfry Wins replied to bigblueinsanity's topic in College Football
I had a friend who playes at Swamp and LSU last year, he said no comparrison, LSU is by far the loudest place they are, he said the ground literaly shook and the roar was loud the whole game. -

I dont blame him as a UK fan for picking Florida, because if I was neutral media I would probably pick Florida also, with the by week and UK just playin a very physical game. But I would pick a rather close game, but seeing how Im a UK fan I dont pick with my mind. -

He will get hackled at Game Day for sure lol. -
Here is the thing WV can run, and they will be rpetty healthy, MSU couldnt slow down their game at all last year. Miss. State has a bad run defense, which equals a long day at Mountaineer Frield.

Who has the most improved team so far?
Belfry Wins replied to KCUKnight54's topic in KY Football (High School)
In our viewing area I would have to go with Pike County Central, they are a nice football team and would really do well in certain disctricts. However having to be placed with Belfry and SC isnt nice. But they arent a bad team. -
I can remember a couple years ago a lot of people including me saying that Woodson wouldnt cut it and we would be in trouble with him at QB, and I was one of those people. Pulley is very athletic and he seems to have his head on straight now, he will be fine.

Michigan State has been not very impressive and neither has Wisonsin. Illinois gave the Bucks a game last year, but its in Columbus. I see their toughest game bein Michigan actualy then Penn State.
-
IMO he should have been redhirted this year and stayed at WR next season.

Pass Interference haha. Unfortuntley Im surrounded with bunch of Ohio fans, and they are diehard, but even they can see this team is missing something. They will fall somewere even though their schedule is sad. Their defense is ok, but lets see somebody spread that field out on that zone defense again. Last year this defense played two really good offensive teams, last two and got lit up both games. This season so far they havent played one yet.

I dont know how much he played but in the UK JV loss to harmony he finished with 7 carries for 23 yards, but to his credit he found out about the move just this week.

Bell County @ Sheldon Clark Predictions
Belfry Wins replied to EKUAlum05's topic in KY Football (High School)
One question I have is from a SC fan perspective, how do you think the schedule (obviously) weak compared to other teams will affect them in this game? I think one thing as tough as Dials is, he wont be able to handle as many carries as he has the past few weeks, this enters SC's brutal part of schedule, two tough weeks. -

First congrats on the win, from watching PCC so far this year, I have been under the impression they dont handle a physical team very well. Did that appear to be the case from your viewpoint? -
I still see 8-4, I seen 7-5 before season but didnt see us beating Arkansas, we lost to SC on the road which is understandable. It would be real nice to sneak one against Florida or LSU and who knows its tough to win on the road in SEC. I see Cats beating MSU and Vandberbelt. As for UT I called us beating them before the season and we have them at home and they arent no USC (Carolina) and they are no reason Kentucky shouldnt beat them. I still beelieve.

I can tell you from first hand experience when you walk out on the field and see your side packed otu with fans their to support you it gives you chills. I wasnt on this team bu in 03 when Belfry went to Middlesboro, you have to get dressed and then arrive on the buse, when the players arrived Belfry side was completely filled and theyw ere all on their feet cheering like crazy, I could only imagine how it made them feel, Middlesboro fans were intimidated by it also, they looked over all warmups. It means a lot to know that your playing for more than just a team or your brothers, but your playing for a whole community.

NO CBS always has Michigan and OSU on Gameday and its always a day CBS game.

It was the coaches decision not to red shirt him. David does has the pure speed, he ran a 4.31 40 in pro day and had a hurt knee then. But honestly he wasn't healthy all the way in the Louisville game and still isn't and who hasn't McFadden made look silly. I think red shirting would have been best for David also, he has the athletic ability to play several positions, but he does need to get healthy.
-
He had opportunity, but he missed first couple games if you remember and hasn't been healthy most of pre season. I think that and the fact of Burton and Little back there hindered that.
-
I talk to David from time to time, and here is what he said on the move, it was his choice to be moved to WR, but the new defensive back coach was watching some film and came to Joker and was like hey you got a ton of receivers and we need the depth in secondary, so he went to DB.
-
They said they were going to play him at HB during JV game and let him get a feel for it. He started at DB, then WR, then back to DB. Thing is though he has second fastest fourty time on the team, and he did run an awful good reverse against Florida last year.
-
Received word today, no link but truth, came from Jones, that during the JV game David is going to be moved to Half Back on Saturday. They told him he does well there, then they are going to move him from DB to HB. NO link but its truth. I just wonder how much field he would see with all of the talent, but he has great speed. I figured this was a move with the injuries at RB the team has had.
-
Ill give you credit that last year was a clean Pburg team. I was a senior on 01 team, very physical, and they did have a lot of late hits then, we got spit on that year 2 walking under bleachers haha. But yeah Im not saying that to knock you guys, nothing but respect for Pburg, wish we could have continued the series.

Here's Something I Thought I'd Never See
Belfry Wins replied to gametime's topic in College Football
UC really has a nice home schedule this year, for fans in the area a seson ticket wouldn't have been a bad investment anyways, now a really good one with their sucess.
