I think it's pretty safe to assume it will be noon/1:30 then 6:30/8. Been that way as long as I can recall. Of course, the back end game of the session never starts on the listed time.

Boys' region finals and SFs will always be packed gyms no matter what days they're played on. Girls' SFs and finals being on Friday-Saturday helps the gate, because the crowds wouldn't be as big if those were on Monday-Tuesday.

This is a silly thread. The overwhelming majority of teams who play up choose to do so because they can be competitive there. Only a few do so for logistical reasons (travel) and aren't competitive. Pendleton Co. and Nelson Co. are ones who fit into this category, and they're rare. But at the end of the day, it's still the school's choice.

Good prep for the postseason. Gets the kids used to a tournament-type situation where they will play several games in close quarters if they keep winning. A lot of teams definitely experience the "All A Bounce" if they go deep in the tournament, and usually most teams that play in the All A have to turn around on the following Tuesday and play a district seeding game. Gets kids used to keeping the intensity up while dealing with fatigue.

I haven't seen them, but someone who has told me it's all about beef inside.

It happens quite a lot at places like Fort Knox and Fort Campbell.

Don't forget that wives, girlfriends and kids often show up on Friday and stay the rest of the weekend.

Bardstown has pulled the All A Region champ and overall 5th Region champ daily double three different times.

The 12th Region only truly has three since Monticello consolidated a few years back. Since then, Washington Co. has been moved over to the 12th Region for the purposes of All A Classic play.

So, it's gonna be Bart Bruner if the traditional X folks have their way, and Stefan LeFors if the folks who want to go "in a new direction offensively" have their way. Am I right on this? I don't know Mike Glaser very well, but I feel like I know who he's backing.

For the record, and it has been mentioned here before, when the All A Classic started as a statewide tournament, it lined up with what was then Class 1A in football. So if you guys want to get hung up on the name of the tournament, blame the KHSAA for splitting their football classes. The tournament organizers shouldn't have to change the name just because the KHSAA changed its classifications. But I do hate when schools participating in it refer to it as "Class A State." No, no it's not.

I'll go ahead and bring this back up to the current to see if this helps.

I feel like my earlier post answered that quite well.

If Ky ever goes to classifications in basketball, the KHSAA will take a bath financially and it will quickly move out of Rupp Arena because of all the empty seats.

What is the schedule for the girls' LIT? I can't seem to find it, but I'm not doing deep research.
