Good info. I was wondering as another game I was tracking from afar had not had much problems with it, but they were playing on artificial turf.

Raiders were up 12-0 at half, but the Eagles rallied back and took the lead with just under 8:00 to play and held on. Don't have deep details as I did not attend. This game was played on the turf at Nelson Co. HS. First time Bethlehem's ever played there in regular season (they've done some 7v7 there). Big ups to NCHS for hosting this when the Hart Co. field was unplayable.

Has this game had a lot of wet-ball fumbles and other rainy miscues?

I'm not disagreeing, but I think it's fair to note how many people show up to watch D2 and D3 games as compared to D-1A. Without the best of the best athletes, football becomes a lot less interesting. Kind of like how pro soccer in the US has been the "next big thing" for 40 years now and is only recently starting to take off.

Were the NFL to "go away," college football would soon follow, since you've removed the motivation for most college FB players to even be in that sport. Our country's best athletes would see no need to risk life and limb in football without that NFL payday in their sights.

Not a date change, but a location change: Tonight's Bethlehem at Hart Co. game has been moved to the Nelson County HS turf field and will be played at 7:30pm.

Marion scored on the opening drive again. Bardstown answered with 42 straight points. The Tigers held the Knights to 194 yards of offense while going for nearly 500. Montrez Railley caught 2TD passes and threw for another. Jeremiah Odom had 128 yards rushing and a TD.

Marion Co. at Bardstown is now 7pm Thursday.

Monroe Co. has great fans and this does not surprise me one bit. It's way up in the rankings of my favorite road destinations, and I've been fortunate to visit a lot of schools over the years.

Generals got a safety two plays into the game, then scored off the ensuing drive to take a 9-0 lead before a minute ticked off the clock — at least, I think, as the scoreboard wasn't working. TNHS scored on the opening drive of the 2nd half to go up 37-0 and force running clock. NC got a pair of late TDs against the TNHS JV.
