I look for this to be a really good game. Could home field advantage be the deciding factor?

After reviewing the most recent RPI, I believe that if Boyle and PT finish the season undefeated Boyle will pass PT and end up as #2. They are currently so close and I believe Boyles schedule will allow them to go ahead of PT. Not sure if they will catch Franklin, but they really don’t have to.

Catholic week is finally here!!! Although it is no longer a district game, it is a huge rivalry game. Especially since Danville dropped the Rebels. Love posting this photo. Gets me fired up! Boyle leads the all-time series 23-14, and has won 11 of the last 12. Several of these have been blowouts. LC’s last victory was in the 2022 regular season 28-27, but the Rebels avenged that defeat in the Regional Finals 41-21. Last years game featured a running clock and a 56-21 Rebel victory.

You’re just not going to get the national top 10 because Boyle is a small rural school in Kentucky and there are too many “big boys” to crack that list. Some may think that is not fair but perception that Kentucky schools can’t compete on a national level is reality.
